I don't think he was insinuating that he was going to do anything to the event. I think he was insinuating that Pilot 13...needs some practice.

I wasn't limiting the being forcibly removed statement to Lecter in particular anyway. It wasn't even really directed at him, because while the character of Lecter can be an ass at times, he still has enough sense not to putz around and trash an official event.

However, there are several people who don't, and that will be what we will have a guide for.

Why aren't we doing this in Odia with 3 Corvus stations? Seems like it would make a much more interesting game. Otherwise, you get out of the sector with the samo and it's over. That with the fact that the samo slowly gets closer to the 3K mark. It just comes down to whoever is lucky enough to blow up the samo-carrier at 2900m.

Sounds fun. Wish I didn't have to work that day.

Does the Group Monitor really participate, or are they just the one sitting by the station to confirm the Samo? I.E., am I the only real member of the Serco team right now? C'mon, Serco, it's a chance to spill Itani blood!

The Group Monitor is indeed the one to verify the samoflange. Iongar, if you want, feel free to drum up some interest on channel 11.

If RelayeR's around we'll have her to do guide things, and she could probably play on the Serco team. At this point, we might end up doing two teams.

In regards to not doing it in Odia, the original scenario was set up for Odia with two teams. However, there isn't a real easy way to make it so that the chances of having storms on the way from the starting sector are equal for all teams, hence Latos. I would have loved to do it in Corvus because of the relative equality of the ship selection.

At this point, all I can really ask is that if you guys really want to switch the stations around, come to a consensus about it. If you want to do it in Odia, find a sector that evens out the number of storms for the teams. The scenario is already set up for Latos, so I think this particular time we should keep it there. If we do another one, I'll try to do it in Odia.

I really believe it should be moved to Odia. The ion storms have a very litte impact as you can just plot around them. Also, they can work both ways (someone rushes to his enemy's base to cut him off before reaching the group monitor, but gets caught in a storm). And the storms in the path can also be used as a way to balance out the teams.

And we might even have to mesh the other + serco team anyway, so you can use the original scenario

It depends on when the CSR is being held, because the main person that runs that event is also part of ours.

We probably will end up moving it to Odia. I need to talk to Joyce, Jan and Erik first, however.

Hmmmm. Real Life just cancelled my weekend. That means I won't be here friday, saturday, or sunday. I need someone to cover for me not just friday, but also sunday for the traders vs. pirates thing.
