Okay. This is how the night went (from my viewpoint). For some reason or other (frankly I don't remember why anymore) I jumped into an arguementbetween him and Mecha. It got heated quickly. Soon, I stated my opinion that I didn't trust any Viper besides the three I mentioned (I just know them well from personal experience). He took offense to that and believed I had insulted his friends (I had no intention of doing that).
So what ensued was what could be technically considered pirating. Could be, I leave you to form your own opinion of this. I picked up my Hornet and was finishing a trade run between Dau and Odia. It was a procurement mission with the need for 42 crates of a 3 cu material, otherwise more than one mothload. Maso declared that he wasnt acting as a Viper or CO but as himself. When I saw him in Sedina O-7 I stated that I was trading. He pursued but didnt fire a shot yet.
Again we entered B-8, I was pursued, caught and fired upon. I trade armed due to increased pirate activity so I had four Sunflares. If it had not been for the double damage, he would've killed me. But technically I killed myself. I declared he was a pirate after attacking (and killing) a declared trader.
That was how it went. I said things that sounded like insults, he did actions that looked like piracy. that's it. I leave the reader to make his own mind.

It's not the first time this sort of thing has been done by aforementioned individual. I personally have never liked it when people say "Oh well I'm acting on my own so I can do what ever I want!" mostly when they are in a guild that allegedly values honor.

My mind's made up already. I know Maso kind of well and he is a human being just like anyone else, not some kind of unfeeling machine who just happened to lead an outstanding guild in VO.
Whining about being killed ONCE is pathetic, Monk. Trust me, Maso was fed up about a great many things before you & Mecha launched into him, hounding someone like that about ONE thing that they did is rather annoying.
Anyone who's been around VO for a while KNOWs that Maso has a quick temper and a long memory. Purposefully putting yourself on his bad side was, I think, an error on your part.
And Borb coming in to talk about being two-faced is rather ironic. Heh.

I did this to clear up any misconceptions on either side. I was disturbed by some of the things Maso told me other people were telling him, so I wanted to set the record straight.

Nobody trades in a quad-flare hornet, Moldyface. If you had four flares, you were CLEARLY NOT TRADING, despite whatever you 'declared' your intentions as.
If you're going to criticize people for attacking a heavily-armed combat ship in the most heavily-used combat sector in the game, then maybe you need to find yourself some new 'trade' routes, which don't involve PVPers, and maybe consider running next time instead of fighting.
As for pirates, I am not one of them, and I try to give them all they deserve when I see them - death. However, no matter how you throw your accusitions, I will not go along with you attacking Maso - who is also not a pirate - like that.

Maso tried to stab me (maybe he wanted a free kill)
and brought excuse on channel that i was griefing a newbie.
everybody supported him and crap talking to me.
Since this days : i went in war vs most of Vo community.

I've traded in a hornet before.. the ship is nice for finishing that last few crates of "whatever", and it allows you to ferry small weapons (n3's anyone) out to sedina while you are at it.
I do that too, Spellcast. The Hornet is surprisingly good at this. Maybe change it from "heavy fighter" to "very light trader"? that would explain why it kinda sucks at combat...
It also had infiboost some thing many ships lack these days.
As for Lebs: So just because he has a has a quick temper and a long memory we have to be uber nice to him? If he does not like it no one is making him play. I still say no matter what justification any one can come up with he should not have backstabbed Monk regardless. If his perceived honor was in jeopardy then he should have asked for a duel.
Hoax: It has been said that even in the biggest lie there is some truth, one must wonder why if every one called Maso every name in the book, why? Could it be some or most of it was true? At the least even if every single word that was said a bout him was a lie, why would be be hated so?
And for the record yes I am alittle bias, ever since the Lahmi incident Maso has had a dislike for me. Though I'm not innocent I have made no attempt what so ever to make things cool again, nor do I care to do so. So yeah feel free to take what I have to say with a grain of salt.
Oh and, heh, two faced lebs? Only two faced? I have six slots last time I looked...

If a person is in a guild... they're in the guild... If you want to be able to be dishonorable, be in a guild that can do stuff like that. (Note: Piracy isn't inherently dishonorable, I've met a few honorable pirates).
One more thing, attacking a declared trader does NOT automatically make you a pirate. If you ask for money... or take the cargo after they go boom, then it is piracy, but not if you are just boomed while trading.
