Softy: I was pointing out that Shape's idea of cronies is rather inaccurate. Since he found me saying he had cronies offensive, it sort of undermines his objection when he has the wrong impression of what cronies actually are. However, in the case that he finds that he has close friends and/or companions offensive, I put out the safety net that I wouldn't quite understand such.

Please, enlighten me on what I missed in his response if you think I missed something.

I dont have problems with noob, Thes, or Shape. I find noob, for the most part amusing, Thes I have no problem with and I consider Shape a friend, not to say I wont boom him any chance I get :-).

Crony nearly always has negative connotations.

Hence its association with cronyism, and with the god (EDIT: I Know, I know, he was a Titan) Cronos (Baby-eaters are our friends!... sorta).

If you had meant just friends, you would have said friends.
