Sedina B-8 yet again became a popular pirating spot these days. When I started patrolling this evening (it was around 19:30 GMT), I found out that there is a pair of Syn members there, and a new pirate guild is been formed at 100 at the same time (without a much success though). So I decided to organise an anti-pirate squadron, and several members from TGFT and Itan (and one other guild, which wouldn't want to be mentioned when anti-pirate activities are discussed) joined me, letting the battle to begin!

We opposed several guys from Syn and CLM, though newly-formed guild (can't recall its name even) didn't show its presence. There were also one new guildless pirate (UIT) Waldoze who didn't even have time to tank his nation standing before joining the fight. Later on Niki joined the battle and bravely fought both us and pirates. It went on till around 21:00 GMT

Our opponents happened to be new to group combat action, and that decided the fight. They simply weren't able to regroup and strike in one formation, while we picked and eliminate one target after another. Though I think everyone involved had fun, and some new pilots learned a bit about group fights. And some peaceful traders could pass B-8 safely on their trade runs while we keeped rats busy -- what could be better for us?

Another battle is going on right now. This time MysticRogue herself were leading CLM forces, and during first hour of the fight her team had higher numbers and better organisation, while we had problems with getting skilled fighters on our side and gathering all participants in group (I didn't actually understand whom mr_spuck and Roda Slane were supporting). Now the battle is going for almost 2 hours, and our team growed, and started actually shooting in one direction

Oh, and I've seen some people from Arrr (new Yoda's guild) and GRU this time

Apparently Vipers need to grow their numbers, as pirate threat increases

Everyone wants to be a pirate. Only in games can you get away with it without having "real world" repercussions!

I was killing clm, scar, pa, itan, vpr, one1, and anyone that shot at me. Your list of pirates and criminals is different than my list of pirates and criminals. [pa] has an alliance with clm, but didn't seam very effective at supporting that alliance. It looked like ecka did most of the grunt work on behalf of the traders, with some support from scar.
