99% chance of CDC not being available to host, and I hear the same goes for SSC.
The chances of me being available to MC this weekend have increased from 1% to about 50-70%, depending on some RL stuff.
If I can't do it, Daggoth will cover for me.
TGFT currently owes a total of 6M in sponsorship money as of this race (2M to SSC for #97, 2M to CDC for #98, and 2M to whoever's MCing this week); it would be appreciated if that could be resolved prior to race start.

I offered to host, too. So, if need arises, I can dock the Hornet and take the Checkered Flag Taur.
I won't be available tonight.
That 1% seemed to pull through for Joyce, though. She'll be the MC tonight, assuming all goes according to "plan".

Presenting the results of the 99th Deneb Run:
The Racers:
Katrina Le-Feir - Union pilot, Councilor-Lieutenant of PA and one of the top three racers.
Foo Fighter - Itani pilot and member of ITAN; a relative newcomer to the event, as this was his third race.
Jestatis Bess - Itani pilot, commander of ONE1. He also participates from time to time.
The Results:
Katrina Le-Feir | 28:24 | Orion Convoy Guardian Hornet, FCPC, no weaponry
Foo Fighter | 30:57 | Orion Convoy Guardian Hornet, FCPC, no weaponry
Jestatis Bess | DNF | Vulture MkIII, FCPC, storm radar extender
Observations:
1) Stormy race! Even with preflights, all three racers hit at least one storm, though none made a difference.
2) Jestatis was being his usual self, asking people to shoot down the other racers. Katrina went after him once she won the race, and killed him in Bractus, earning the third prize money! Jestatis has yet to finish the Run once.
Next week is the 100th Run, be there or be square!

I did finsih 1 run. It was my first one. and i would have finished this one if it wasn't for Kat :(
Ehm... Uhm... I sort of messed up, I think.
The race was very plain, quick (we started on time!!! Unbelievable!) and very stormy - to the point of spawning storms from the scout lap to the race lap, and needing roidfield detours in no less than six systems.
After Jestatis spent a good part of the race offering bounties on my head (hint: if your acceleration and speed are not what you hope them to be, stop loading onboard junk equipment you don't need!), I just wanted to scare him away from keeping spewing those threats - especially after some pilots (hi Athran!) tried to flare me to kingdom come to collect Jestatis' bounty.
It turned out that my taur weapon loadout was a bit too deadly, and instead of just scratching and bruising his Vulture, it hit the ship full force, vaporizing its thin armor. Next time I'll use fireflies. :P
Well, I'm sorry for Jestatis. Didn't want to win the first AND third prize by killing you like that.
