Foo Fighter will offer Betting on the outcome of the Deneb Run races. I will manage a betting book whose payout is based on the winner of the official Deneb Run race series. *

Betting will close before the race commences.
Only bets whose stakes are fully paid up before race start, are valid. Find me ingame to place your Bet. I currently hang out near Jallik / Edras.
Minimum Bet: 100,000c Maximum Bet: 1M c
The odds will change as the book fills, and as the lineup becomes clearer, approaching the race.
These odds are quoted English-style: (a 2/1 against bet, pays out on a $1 stake: $2 prize + $1 stake = $3 total, IF the racer WINS). DNFs and No-shows will count as a loss. Only game credits are involved.

If there is interest and sufficient demand for Betting, I will in following weeks give odds on the 1st Championship of Deneb Run (Dr101 - Dr150) as well as individual races; and most likely setup a separate alt specifically to manage the Betting account separately.
From time to time I may offer odds on other events (like Nation War), or substitute a parimutuel betting pool (where the winners share the pool of all stakes).
I reserve the right not to accept bets by players on themselves winning - at my discretion.

If you want to bet you must:
* find me in-game, agree the bet & odds, and /givemoney
* failing that, post me a reply message here or
* post a message on the www.coalitionofitan.org forum, public thread.

* The Betting activity has nothing to do with the Deneb Run official organizers.
* The Betting activity is a private business of myself and is not backed, endorsed nor underwritten by any guild, including [ITAN].
* I maintain reserves from time to time to ensure full payout on bets. Punters have Credit risk on my name.
* I may from time-to-time race in the Deneb Run, at my discretion.

Since I started the quotes (on Tue) and taken more than 15 paid-up bets, the odds have narrowed significantly on the favourite. I have updated the odds table accordingly.
(your original bets are good at the fixed odds that we agreed, of course).

** NOTE ** Please note that these are quoted English-style, so the payout is more than Americans might expect. For example, a 5/1 against bet, pays out 6x in total (5x plus your stake). a 1/1 bet is "evens" or basically double your money.
Please find out exactly what you are getting (either ask me to clarify, or check wikipedia).
* Note also that if your racer does not finish (DNF), was pirated, did not show up, (or god forbid got disqualified) then it counts as a loss.
* In the event of any unforseen changes to the Deneb Run schedule, the bets are all still valid and binding, for the rescheduled time of the DR race number they were agreed for, so long as the race still goes ahead. (In the unlikely event that a DR is cancelled and the count number the following week leapfrogs, all bets are returned to punters.)

I'll offer betting some more tomorrow, but expect the book to close tomorrow (Friday), as I'll only be around late, on Saturday. Please look out for the Deneb Run posting announcement.

Just to be clear I will normally not accept bets by racers on themselves. I will _sometimes_ accept such "insider" bets but at my discretion. I also reserve to accept "insider" bets by racers at a discount of -1 to the LHS of the quote. (Example: 4/1 quoted to the public on Iry but when Iry asks me to bet on himself, I sell him only 3/1) and/or to limit this type of bet to $1M stake.
