THE TWELFTH TUBE RACE

RULES

1) Ships allowed: any stock Centurion or Vulture up to and including MkIII.
2) Weaponry allowed: any non-ammo.
3) Races: ten races total, two per Sedina track tube but "The Maze".
4) Winner: each one of the ten races awards points to pilots. Pilot standing is totalled at the end of the ten races.
5) Points: from 1st place down, 10, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1. Arriving seventh or later, dying, being killed, or ending out of the tubes yield 0 (zero) points.
6) Prizes: 3M, 2M and 1M to the first three pilots in the final standings.

WHERE AND WHEN

Sedina system, Friday 21:00GMT. We will use five tracks (all but G5), but the exact sequence will be chosen only when the group is ready to race

In case I will host tonight (still don't know about it), I'd like to reduce the event time drastically, and doing so by eliminating the free practice laps before starting the actual laps.

So, if you want to practice in the tubes, do it BEFORE the event, because from now on, I will cut the prac laps. Especially the newbies (or yoda), should learn the course before engaging in a full race.

Notes:

o) Even with a broken joystick, Mick is the man to beat. All first places, but a DNF, and a second one in D5/2, when he arrived around 10m behind Maiz Man.

o) All other players were well within third-place reach for the entire event. Practicing with racetracks is giving the even a lot of spice, as racers start knowing the tricks of each tube.

o) Bumping and firing on each other is just as intense as the race itself. Still, it will be a great day when FF will be removed, and everyone can freely fire on everyone else.

I placed third on tube race #11, and at least i didnt placed last on #12. Im planning on participating regularly from now on btw.
