Today's LMS started off slowly as we were trying to get intervention for the FF removal, but turned out to be unnecessary. We instituted a small mini-game this time, where one player was in a moth with 4 items in it, the goal was for someone to deliver 2 of these pieces to me after the event. Quirc Taranis was flying the pinata (moth).
John Eldritch took out Quirc at the beginning, leaving the special cargo up for grabs.
It changed hands a couple times before it was finally delivered to me by Quirc who recovered it at the end of the event.
It was a fierce battle that went on for about 20 minutes, coming down to the final 4, Mick, Ghost, Denji and Mecha. Denji, being a newcomer to the event made a great showing before finally being eliminated. As the final three battled it out all with less than half health by now, Ghost was the next to fall to capture third place, Mick and Mecha continued the dance, Mecha was in the red as they circled and sized each other up, before finally taking Mick out to win. Mecha also pulled the 5 million credit prize for the most pks, bringing his total winnings today to 11 million.
It was a good turnout for such short notice, congrats to all the winners and thanks to everyone that joined in. I saw several guilds represented and would like to see more at the next one.
