Today is a proud day for the Serco Dominion.
After a month of overwhelming losses at the hands of Itani warriors in Deneb B-12, today the tide was turned when the Serco Military, led by SkyCommand Assault Regiment (SCAR) and Serco Defense Force (SDF) pilots, the valiant Serco's turned back several Itani offensives, including ITAN forces.
Congratulations to the Serco Dominion, and we applaud those that fell to our guns today, you were worthy foes. We applaud the rise of the Serco Military.

really?
hem... wasn't today laundry day at [itan] headquarters?
Wouldn't a battle being fought in Deneb B-12 implicitly imply that it was the Serco who were trespassing? Last I saw, Deneb was Itani space, thereby making any Itani action a "defensive" action, in general, as a response to yet another episode of ugly, bullying, unwarranted Serco aggression.
All Itani systems belong to the Dominion. You believe different because so far you've only read the Itani side of the history.
and where's your side of the story?

I think the Dominion should seize the Itani planets in War Court for their "Crimes against humanity" and their starting the war, thus betraying the peace of our unified planets.
-Similar to what the Union Army did to seize Arlington Cemetery from the Confederate traitors following the Civil War-
As for LeberMac, Deneb System may fall under the Itani collective, but Deneb B-12 contains a direct entrance to Geira Rutilus, which is clearly Serco Space. As per defensive agreements throughout the known worlds, many of those warpgates are protected by military outposts. Due to Itani aggression however, and the fact that B-12 is not directly aligned or monitored, it falls to the Serco Military to monitor the sector for defensive purposes. If the Itani military did not advance on B-12, then the Serco Military would remain confined and away from their stations on the other side of the system.

Bah. Your Serco cruisers routinely invade Deneb B-12, making our presence there routine to defend our side of the wormhole. Deneb is Itani space, even Deneb B-12.
You mention Itani aggression. What Itani aggression do you mean? Please be specific.
Now, if you bloodthirsty Serco savages would just stop invading our space, we would not be forced to continually slaughter your pathetic pilots.
If we were to apply your own logic to the situation, it would seem that the Itani would be justified in maintaining a presence in Geira O-4, and destroying your military station there. Perhaps that is an option we should explore.

Tuesday... Tuesday... Oh yeah! I was stuck on deck 5, the driers were taking forever. I think I shrunk my flight suit, little tight in the swimsuit area.

Sorry, I laughed. Itani can change to peace, but Serco always stay the same.

/me volunteers to represent the Serco
How much do you charge?
Or do you mean "volunteer" as representing for free?

moldy, even the backstory contradicts you. The Serco were the ones who were peace-loving (albeit technocratic), initially. Get your facts straight.
And Serco are not invading Itani space, the Itani forced the Serco to expand their territory to have some buffer zone between themselves and the Itani.

I'll take credits, which is pretty much working for free, even in the context of VO.
LeberMac, according to our agreed upon history. The Itani were responsible for starting the war, as they started attacking the Serco, until we drove you off, and into space.
And no, as Itani you have no justification to Geira Rutilus O-4. Deneb B-12 is an acceptable border in my mind, considering the Itani have no station there, and thus no major claim.
I agree with toshiro however, the Serco were forced into a status of offense (for defense) due to the Itani, and therefore, we do have legitimate reason to seize Deneb B-12.

Deneb B-12 should be grey space
If you're talking about THOUSANDS of years ago, then sure, the Itani started the war.
But since the Itani left Sol II, the races had been separate for over a thousand years. The Itani have progressed, prospered, developed new philosophies, new powers, and new ideas. The Serco stagnated for a thousand years, mired in a rigid militaristic caste system. The Serco Empire was so pathetic that even the mild-mannered trade empires had to break off an create their own Union to be rid of your filth.
So, when our scientists attempted to make contact, you imprison them and treat them as spies, then mount wave after wave of aggressive war against the Itani, who are peace-loving. You have taken Betheshee and Geira from us, and yet you now complain when we draw the line again at Deneb.
Now you claim to have legitimate reason to seize Deneb B-12, based on your own fear of Itani superiority. Are you so afraid of the Itani that you must have THREE wormholes and two systems between Sol II and the nearest Itani stations?
Justifying your expansionist claims based on thousand-year-old history is akin to those wacky 21st century Islamist extremists of Old Earth justifying their terrorism based on fears of reliving the 14th century Crusades. To be frank, neither the present-day Serco nor the 21st century Islamist extremists deserve anything more than summary execution.

LeberMac,
While I recognize your concerns over our war making, we are not to blame for this.
Your ancestors killed our people, and there is no limit to what revenge we will take on the Itani for their treachery. The stagnation of the Serco (as you call it) could've been avoided had those Serco survived, and our people worked together.
New peace is no penance for past sins, not against our people.
We DO have legitimate claim to Deneb, as your "people" continue to fight us, and obviously carry a strong technological advantage over us, as well as having access to more strategic resources in your space.
If I had my way, Sol II would be protected by dozens of wormholes, weapons platforms, defensive turrets, station guards, and I would still demand nuclear weapons on my ships to kill Itani.
We are not extremists as you claim LeberMac, we are warriors. Warriors who seek justice for those massacred by the Itani. You're people are born from war criminals, your government was founded by them. There is nothing more we can do but see the foundation of that genocidal culture torn down and replaced with a government that would bring peace and harmony to the galaxy.

The Itani home planet isnt right next to Serco territory either :-P
That's where Pyro and I part ways...
I still think the Itani were unjustified in using weapons of mass destruction against the Serco homeworld, and bear more responsibility for the bitterness this conflict has reached.
However, I would welcome peace, for it is during peacetime that science and economy can truly grow. And I'm more interested in furthering the average Serco's life span than her or his combat ability.
But then, I am not a warrior.
