I don't think it's a matter of not being able to read, but rather a sort of eagerness to write that keeps them from taking the time to do anything but spewing their poorly spelled and poorly thought out threads.

I shall act as Dr. Lecter's champion and will duel Cloak or Mister purple or whatever his name is. To defend the honor of he whom shall not be named.

But as for anytime, anywhere, I need to make that more like "whenever I feel like logging in."

Oh so anyway I put on my "Dr Lecter" hat for this, since the good doctor coundn't be present.

I lurched into Sedina B-8 to duel Cloak, in my Atlas Mk. I. He actually wanted a DUEL, which was fine with me, even though we could have fought without one.

So we fought. He proceeded to furiously backroll in his vult with dual gauss. (Why, I dunno, but that is another story.) Unprepared and tipsy as I was, I had not anticipated this brilliant strategic move, being left with half ammo of iceflares and jackhammers, since I was popping voys not 2 minutes before the urge to defend the Doc's honor took over me.

Of course, I ran out of ammo, as is my wont when using anything that has ammo. Unable to win (he'd survived with maybe 40% hull), I turboed away for a little bit then came to a complete stop and accepted my fate. Which he interpreted as a dramatic and spectacular WIN for himself!

Not to leave the n00b without a taste of the usual "Dr. Lecter" style of trash talking, I proceeded to wittily insult his heritage, style of dress, bodily odor, and generally performed my obnoxious duty.

So, I hope I have left an indelible impression of Dr. Lecter-ish behavior on Cloak, which he may hopefully relay to the other members of his Newb Fleet, preparing them for the day when Doc will inevitably return to go on a newb-killing spree like the days of yore. The only difference between my performance and what you can expect from Lecter, is that you would have been dead quickly, and station-camped repeatedly until you quit in frustration, tears of ineptitude filling your eyes.

So, I hope that in some small way I have been helpful here.
