It's almost like I never came back. Or never left and came back. Again. Or twice was it? I don't remember.
Either way, the combat pilots in the galaxy are either not improving in any way, or they've gotten a lot worse and I'm rusty. Whichever it is, I totally screwed my even kill count.

I may have rushed things. The rest of my assets aren't in place. I suppose my dashing about killing people will serve the same purpose.
Shar sent me some cash, which is good, I have expensive taste in ships.
Need to recover Corvus standing. I can't buy a CV! Corvus bureaucrats are worse than Itani. I heard the border has picked up, maybe I'll swing up there...

We're all idiots, actually. We continue to participate in the life we're given, or, for those of you half cup full type, this life we "lead".
It's absurd. You think you control what you do. You think you "serve at the pleasure of high command" or "serve as the council wishes"...
You're all punks, liars and lied to.
They aren't going to let you go. They aren't going to free your soul. They're going to use you and push you and force you into their bidding...
And then they'll have no more use for you and they'll crush you out of existence.
There's only one way out: Become a REAL PIRATE. we are open to knew members, we have nothing to hide, and most importantly, you will be applauded for your efforts, despite failure or even success based on less than honorable means.
It's time to embrace the Machiavellian prince of long ago. "Manipulate your enemies with ruthless abandon, and, more importantly, your friends to get the result you desire." Your success in this world is directly proportional to how much pressure you apply to the outcome of the situation you regard as most important.
