You're incorrect that which trader was involved and what the outcome was is irrelevant to a piracy report: which trader was pirated; did they run and die or pay or dump cargo; what ship were they in... all relevant to evaluating the nature of the piracy.

I agree that kills qua kills aren't relevant, which causes me to look askance at the Itani kills where no cargo was involved. However, I have a suspicion that these are anti-pirate pilots, whose destruction and depletion of resources is itself relevant pirate activity. Note the detailed description of the harm inflicted on the anti-pirates, rather than a listing of names taken.

Well, using that view, perhaps it would also be interesting to note the number of deaths incurred by the pirates on that day also. If there is a detailed description of the harm inflicted by the pirates, then an accurate assessment of the harm done to the pirates would be useful.

They did all that with no deaths is far more impressive then if we knew the pirates tanked a fair number of ships in making the achievement.

Yea theirs a very high ship loss rate when fighting anti-pirates and the strike force, though often I'll just try and see how many strike force I can take out with a quad flare. While that's a waste of resources, it is alot of fun.

And lets face it, we already have enough resources to do whatever the hell we want.
