TGFT is in the process of organizing traders and combat defenders to complete hauling contracts into gray space

The universe is changing and there is a growing demand for materials. Several groups and factions are trying to corner the market. To stay ahead of the competition Council Member Obsidian has secured contracts for TGFT guild members, probationary members and any other available pilot.

Our goal is to work effectively to move the cargo to gray space with a minimum in loss of ships, equipment and goods. Pirates will be hunting us and there is a good change of failure, however we must persist and strive to overcome all obstacles.

The next contract is Tuesday 2300 server time (6:00pm CST)

Please respond to this thread and I will contact you with further information

From my notes:

The latest convoy event was a great event for the pirates. There were five registered traders, six registered defenders and a very solid team of six pirates. The pirates were represented by Retractile, Keria Willenium, Calico Jack Rackham, The Honeydipper, Tramshed and Alioni Royhu. These pirates set a new record, it is the first time ALL pirates on a team made kills. Congrats to the pirates, nice work.

The event started off slow from Dau as the haulers and defenders were on edge as the scouting parities reported large numbesr of pirates patrolling the route to Odia. However the haulers, Ecka Estenek, Surbius Bondero, Ifor Ivanovich, Jake Cutter and Ostanla-Bo Ramen, loaded up their ships with organic solvents and jumped to the safe sector while the defenders went ahead to clear the worm hole.

The defense force was lead by Breazle who had solid fighters such as Mecha Touriuas, Azusa, Vehement, pyro79 and Amotoma under his command. These defenders were aggressive and cunning making over fifteen kills, however, it was not enough to suppress the pirates and many of the haulers were destroyed. Ecka, a renowned trader was one of the first traders to lose their ship, however he did return to the convoy and killed two pirates as part of his personal vendetta.

The pirates made an astounding twenty kills with Calico Jack Rackham leading the bloodbath with seven personal kills. The pirates were able to stop the majority of the traders from making it to Odia with Surbius being the lone trader to dock at the end station.

The event MVP was Calico Jack who earned an official TGFT greeb Beanie with solar powered propeller.

I would again like to thank all who participated and to invite everyone to join us again for future events.
