well we are not going to give out the payout % but would seem obvious that the lowest prize is highest % and bigest prize is lowest %

yes. the slotbot has more than enough credits for the payouts.
if the situation arises, *if*, please inform a GDAP official and you will recieve your 10k back.

Don't quite think you understand what I was asking. For simplicity's sake, say you set the payout to 90%, if I were to play long enough to have played 1,000,000 times at 1c/play I would expect to have won 900,000c, with the house taking 100,000c.

I'm assuming then that each play is independent, and if there are only 5 options for each symbol, then there are 125 possible combinations, 5 of which pay out, so a 4% chance of winning, and I won't assume that the probability of winning 3mil is the same as winning 60k since you said the 60k is more likely. Am I close or are things setup differently/more simply? I'm not familiar enough with what you can do with lua and vo's irc interface.

Sorry, I'm probably to curious for my own good. First game I've seen that actually has the capability to be extended to allow players to setup automatic gambling, which is cool.

actually just to edit on what armonia replied to hangroy if in the unlikely chance the bot did run out of money and you won a prize, we wouldnt refund the 10k we would give you the prize. obviously we would have to check our logs first...

To reply to ethidium, the odds are set so each pull has no memory (the same as probability) but the 60k winning has around a 45% chance of a win... to find out the others /msg Breazle or slotbot location, go to where he is and have a few goes :)

No, there is no way the bot can loose money, thats just not two words that belong together, unless you are saying "my money bag is feeling loose".

It is losing money though. I myself won much more than I put into it, but it was able to pay out still when i hit -bar- -bar- -bar-.

It's just my opinion of course, but the odds do need lowering on the lower end wins, or the prizes reducing in value. A 15% chance at getting 1 mill is still high, if you are a lucky soso.

i agree with yoda... all the odds seem pretty stable except the 60k payout... But the bot is not loosing money nore making loads atm.

ok. all notes taken. we tried to make the SlotBot according to VO standards with the pay per pull : payout ratio. it is not as easy as it sounds. so, in an attempt to fix this, we are going to build a full scale slot machine. so far, to answer most questions, the payout % will be in the 90% range. we expect the pay per pull to change as well. it is in the works. GDAP is going to shutdown the SlotBot for a few days and get it right. i will post here when finished and give as many details as i can. while in the universe, stay tuned to channel 777 for Gambling District News.

Slotbot commands (/msg slotbot) are: commands/help/general/location/paytable

The cost per pull is 10k (10000) credits.
The SlotBot has a 96.3% payout and follows real world regulations. Obviously we are not going to charge 25 credits a pull, so the amount won is based on a % of the 10k pull.

The Paytable is as follows:

1 -cherry- = 30,000 credits
2 -cherry- = 60,000 credits
3 -cherry- = 120,000 credits
3 of any -bar- (bar, double bar, triple bar) = 120,000 credits
3 -single bar- = 250,000 credits
3 -double bar- = 500,000 credits
3 -triple bar- = 1,000,000 credits
3 -red 7- = 3,000,000 credits
3 -jackpot- = 16,660,000 credits

Also, we have Roulette up and running too! The "Roulette Table" is based on a 0 and 00 table. Betting is easy, i have a picture of what the table looks like, so you know what to bet on:

I've been playing the slotbot, and I noticed a couple glitches.

*if you get 2 cherries, you still only get 30,000

*if you get 3 of the same bar, you still only get 120,000. (e.g. three double bars pays out 120,000, not 500,000)

Ok, i talked about this yesterday with you. I have triple checked it. The payout for three -double bar- is 500k. If you had been betting alot, you may have only seen a 120k payout if you won that right before the -double bar- you stated yesterday you would have noticed 500k going into your account, but if you had been playing the slotbot alot, you may have not known how much money you had. Also two -cherry- does payout 60k not 30k, I will get Mephostopholes to send you some logs.
