A fun NW , excellent combat action, good to see newer players joining in. The UIT team engaged Serco and grey from the off. Good flying all round, a long battle at the end between the remaining grey, Itani and UIT . A good win to Grey .

The 4 surviving grey team members Azrael, mimic, Fatus Lachesis and Fatus Atropos split the 20 million cr Prize.

I would like to express my great disappointment in the three main races for singling out the Itani members of the Grey team so viciously. The pirate guilds have always been equal opportunity employers, and we find such blatant racism and almost genocidal actions by anyone other than ourselves unconscionable. I would urge everyone to look deep into your soul and root out the rotten core that has allowed you to perpetrate such brazenly evil actions. Please, folks, we're trained professionals, leave the evil to us.

Funny to see our name on that list. Me (Mara) and Derri both started a few days ago, and we wanted to watch. It was a bit confusing, since we didn't really understand the way the messaging and the chat channels work in game, and also, we didn't know where to position ourselves at the beginning ("2000 off? Where is that? How do you see that?"). If we didn't do it right, then we apologize.

We were actually baffled to make it to that sector in one piece. We thought we would be long dead before arriving there. Unfortunately, we didn't see much of the fight. We got shot within 2 minutes after it started. Maybe we weren't far enough. But we both thought: "We might as well join the fight next time if we get shot anyway, and see a bit more of it that way".

Heh , sorry someone shot you Malagcyril, But as you see it does get very hectic in there. General advice would be to bring something small and fast , just join in and have fun. Getting used to the different chat modes, good spacial awareness and using things like the variable zoom bind to observe from a distance do take a fair bit of practice.

Generally though, in the NW, I wouldn't say small and fast is easy mode but heavies are definitely hard mode.

The Nation Wars are generally a load of fun even if you absolutely suck at fighting.

So Ecka, if the UIT had won, could we have just morphed in with them and gotten a prize too? ;-) I should consider doing that next time. BTW, you do know you can edit posts, right? :D

Also, Maalik, if you're reading this, I hope you consider staying on Grey's team until we're up to the ~50 wins the other nations have... One last thing, then I'll shut up. The plugin I mentioned here: http://vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/9/20245 should be ready around Christmas time, though I'm still deciding whether to give it only to Grey team members. ;-) jk, jk, it'll be entirely open-source etc.
