1. Atice, it's repairing, not healing.

2. Contractibility is not going away. In-combat repairs will occur, of course, only when contracted OR if the medic is attacked and someone comes to their defense.

Note, sitting around outside of combat is not particularly thrilling. Contracts are really what get the excitement going, and without that it's not so appealing to be a medic.

3. Since contracts will occur, and we want to be neutral, everyone and anyone can pick up a contract, of all shapes and sizes. This means that we won't accept sponsorship because of the risk of looking biased or tilted, though donations are still very helpful.

Contracts can help pirates pirate traders.
Contracts can help traders stop pirates.
Contracts can help griefers cause havoc.
Contracts can help nationalists fight other nationalists.
Contracts can help VPR stop the griefers and pirates.

Neutral outside of contracts, but within a contract we're pirates, traders, griefers, nationalists, VPR, whatever the case may be, but a good deal more defenseless and a whole lot more potent.

4. We charge for contracts solely so that people don't take too much advantage of EMS, we're not greedy. We don't have a particularly large bank, though all donations I receive are channeled directly to it with credit given to the respective donator. Tune-ups are free, but if we gave free contracts then things would really start getting rough. So there's nothing wrong with a small fee for a contract, and most of us generally don't ask for much.

I think that's a reply to most of those replies, I'll try and answer anything I can.

And, of course, the Strat hunt continues. (Strat, won't you come online?)
