This thread is a tribute to my favorite ship of the last 6 months, She only came out on special occasions when I needed to avenge my honour or to prove a point about the might of the Hog.

Ol Betsy was a Warthog Territorial Defender I acquired from the Dau shipyards and she had proven herself many times in 1v1 combat against the enemy. Most recently against Fanta & Mingo where I was being outmatched in my hog mkIII. I pulled out Ol' Betsy for a run just to make a point and sure enough Ol' Betsy quickly dismantled the enemy

Today I was on player kill 499 of 500 and I decided Ol' Betsy deserved the honour of achieving that milestone for me. She did not fail me in this goal and I did get my 500th kill and badge, however she was destroyed in the moment of victory.

Ol' Betsy will be missed but she died as she should, in combat, in victory, as a warrior.

Yarr, t'was no Hound but a fine Hog to be sure.

I've just noticed this thread. Sorry I'm late.

I will confirm Ol Betsy was a true champ.

She took down MANY of my ships.
I'd say 10 or more if I remember correctly!

And I am proud to say that I was PK 49?-500 for CrazySpence, he and Ol Betsy whooped me arse!
