A lovely fight was had today. Started a bit late, due to technical difficulties of people not being able to find their groups, but lasted a goodly time, and saw some nice combat. Fairly freewheeling at first, with people slowly being picked off on all sides, but eventually it got down to the three valks against Ardenus and Denji, with Ardenus falling slightly before Denji to the whirling onslaught of Itani blaster fire.

One of these days, Grey might adopt the Itani strategty of 'run around the edge of the rock field in X-1s for as long as possible, only engaging once everyone else is shot to pieces'...see how that goes for ya.

And I'm not saying such an approach is wrong or "dishonorable" (whatever the Hell that means). It very clearly wins NWs...but I think it's safe for me to say that most Grey pilots find it boring and won't employ it just to win.

I'll agree with that, the point of having a nation war after all is to get in there and shoot whoever you can and have fun doing it.
