It has come to my attention hat some *pirates* have attacked, and convinced, one of my new recruits to leave THC. This is not on guys, cmon! Every newb dreams of being a pirate - but only a few get a shot at being a good one - so until I get to the bottom of this, I'm a kill every single last one of you that I encounter. (Or at least attack ye on sight, heh)

Killing off new members of THC and talking them into typing /guild resign member is a cunts trick, something I expect a VPR to do, not an honest hard working pirate! I'd like to know more before Impavid, Dr. Lecter, and the rest start opening up a can of whoop-ass (although that is all up to them)... What was the backround, was the supposed newb in question attacked in open space at a wormhole or ion storm? Was it a single attack or did he get station camped? Did the pirates actually say anything to purposefully get him to quit or did he just decide "these people are attacking me and therefore I don't want to be a pirate"? That last bit I would find rather viable because even I am hazy on whether or not THC takes priority on piracy or simple grey space combat and our pirates (including myself) have really been asking toll from anyone non-pirate who is commuting at all as of late, combat ship or not, due to lack of prey and itchy trigger fingers. Considering he was a newbie, can you take his story for face value that who attacked him was a pirate and not just a viper or some-such? Sometimes new players would recklessly consider the very first person who attacked them to be a pirate, and I imagine a THC tag might draw some unwanted attention. And I cannot stress you enough to not use the word "convinced" as it is very broad and does not specify whether he was verbally or indirectly convinced. In the case of the latter, we're just doing our job, mate.

Keep in mind that I don't really care if a reach for diplomacy comes up empty or not, just about everyone else in VO attacks us anyways and we are more organized than ever.

That was uncalled for, yodaofborg. I don't believe any Viper has ever actively tried to convince a pirate to leave their guild or give up piracy (other than friendly jesting). If you feel this is not the case, I urge you to bring the specific incident(s) to my attention when they occur. It's not our goal to get new pirates to give up piracy, nor to push new pirates towards one specific pirate guild or another.

since impavid has a bad habit of sniping duelers in b8, and never fighting his own fights, i would be surprised if there is any guild not at war with chrn, especially other pirate guilds.

i am very disappointed that some otherwise semi respectable players ever allowed themselves to be associated with impavid or peytros, much less both. but at least peytros doesn't seam to be completely dependent on having bodyguards present his every logging minute.

I have had characters invited to both the first and second SCAR, and you haven't invited me to the third. Lecter, your opinion on SCAR is of little concern to me. I have always wondered if it was technically correct to refer to any serco with either gender, but I defer to convention when referring to half breeds.
