I disagree. I have made a number of alts for the sole purpose of killing people indiscriminately with stolen equipment. They generally become useful around 2/2/2/-/- and I generally discard them somewhere around 4/4/4/-/-. I find this exercise quite refreshing.

I've even gotten a tgft or PA to wire me a big pile of credits before I summarily murder him in the middle of Dau with a lenb I stole from a TPG station guard on multiple occasions. I then burn the character with the money to take it out of the economy (the devs won't do anything about the money glut, but I can!) It's downright exhilarating.

I've deleted and recreated LeberMac twice. The current LeberMac is technically LeberMac Mk. III

Sadly, LeberMacs do not improve with each new version. If anything, they get lazier and more drunk.

And we wonder why everyone hates us.. :P

I've only deleted one character, because a 3rd pirate alt was redundant. I'll miss those 700 pks though...

Well, he [DELETED BY WHISTLER] deleted just about everything else.

When i deleted bt the day before it was removed from my char list and from THC guild.
When i logged on a different character yesterday, i've seen BT in my char list again.

Do you have to double delete char now for the deletion to be effective or is that another bug in that game?

By the way i already deleted it in the past to get a red BT instead of a yellow one, just lost a few ships and 400pk, not a big deal.

All BT's money is in THC bank feel free to plunder.

Well gave me a second thought, though, i have not decided yet if i do a second deletion try, or if i just leave it in standby to keep the name from being 'misused'.

As not all the letters in your account name are capitalized, but become so in the moderation, wouldn't the letters in ladron's name also be capitalized in that situation?

They would, but when ladron deleted Whistler's post he probably didn't think of that.
