Hi all,
I was interested in starting a player run event in wich players would race at B-5 and D-5 race tubes in Sedina. I was thinking something like this for rules.

RULES
-Only one flare launcher is permitted per ship, the other ports may be filled with any other weapon the pilot desires.
-No L-mines or Biocom mines, proximity and concussion are permitted.
-No shooting until the player has reached the first checkpoint
-6 players per race.

The prizes would be as follows:
1st : 2 million
2nd : 1 million
3rd : 500k

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in something like this, we did a test run today with a few people and it was a blast of fun. We could have a couple different classes, a vulture class, centurion class, and perhaps a heavy ship class.
Let me know what you all think, if I see alot of interest I will start organizing and get the event set up and ready to twice weekly!

For clarification's sake: when you say "Only one flare launcher is permitted", I assume you mean you can wield whatever you like as long as you don't have more than one flare (or an Lmine etc), right?

Yes, that is correct. You can have whatever else you want on the ship as long as it only has one flare launcher. I'll edit the original post to clarify more.

I forgot about biocom mines hehe, allthough everyone in the race would probably be destroyed anyway. I'll edit that in there.

When I'm online I plan on doing a few more test runs of this event before I decide wether I'm up to dedicating myself to hosting the event twice weekly.
