As in the distant past of the Serco Dominion, those that we once called friends; those that we have sacrificed for, have treacherously turned on us. When contact was lost with Sol, it was the Serco that took the steps necessary to ensure the survival of the human race. The Itani population reaped the benefits of our sacrifices, and under the guise of order and peace, attempted to wipe us out. We saw it coming, and hoped for peace... We waited... We talked... We were nearly eradicated. After our victory, we allowed the betrayers to go into exile, only to have them return and once again, under the cloak of diplomacy, viciously attack us. For thousands of years we have been painted as unreasonable aggressors, without mercy, without humanity.

Now, a dying group has attempted to do the same. In a purely political move to bolster their ranks, the guild known as the Phoenix Alliance has betrayed the Serco people and attacked what was once one of their strongest allies. While trouble has been brewing for a relatively short time, they came to us asking for a diplomatic solution. When we stood down to allow for talks. They attacked without warning. Now, like the Itani of old, they seek to spread lies as to their motivations; to once again make the Serco into the evil, soulless enemy. They speak of wanting peace... They talk of having offered reasonable terms... They offered access to our own property, at the price of complete capitulation. They knew this offer could not be accepted. It was made solely for the purpose of continuing the deceit that they are innocents, who want nothing more then peace. They already had unfettered access to Bractus. All we asked is that they stop relentlessly attacking our people. They originally gained access by promising peace... within a week they had betrayed us for the first time by latching onto agreements that were made with other parties and "altering" their agreements with us without notice. Their method of diplomacy, it seems, is to ask for peace, and then trade the handshake for the fist. Never-the-less, we continued to seek diplomatic solutions... They responded by increasing their aggression in order to force a conflict.

This time we will not wait until we are on the brink of disaster. This time we will not be painted as the enemy. If we have no mercy, it is because you made us so. This bird may have risen from the ashes but, in the end, the Phoenix is always consumed by fire.

If the Phoenix Alliance persists with this sham, If you really want a fight. We will be that Fire.

As a fellow warrior and your enemy in our endless conflict I will not engage you or your members when you are engaged with PA

However, this does not mean that we are friends or that I will join your conflict.

Once the sector is clear of PA our regular hostilities and duties will resume hopefully NOT interfered with by OUTSIDERS again.

As an ally of ONE and for other BLF related reasons similar to ONEs, the BLF will stand by ONE in this war of Phoenix Alliance aggression and duplicity. The BLF is far from the largest group but we are passionate and loyal and we respect those characteristics in others.

The Phoenix Alliance has laid out the path they chose to walk, they have been judged based on the merits of their honor and... they have been found lacking.

Last night the BLF officially accepted PAs declaration of war resulting in the deaths of eight Phoenix Alliance pilots and we will continue our attacks until they see the error of their ways and hopefully remember a time when they had honor.
