ATTN serco newbies join the red scare today so we can remake the great serco empire! For too long players have chosen to be itani or UIT while our numbers have slowly shrank over the years. So much of our influence has been lost that UIT and Itani are practically one and the same in all but name.

Well why don't we have ALL the guilds post here? It would have been better if you'd done a quick post in General saying "Hey Newbs! Have a look in the Role Playing forum if you want to join a guild." Or something.

Why not instead of fragmenting Serco further go join ONE so that way there aren't 20 little Serco guilds of 1 or 2 people running around getting NOTHING accomplished

I disagree Spence... the issue with ALL guilds currently being useless, is that the only thing they have to fight over is the stations and from what I've seen, the four largest guilds generally care bear share those.

Apart from that, there is the fairly small player base which usually gravitates towards the larger guilds, and then finds out that by and large... even the they do very little.
the effort to create new nationalist guilds, or guilds in general will pay off eventually. People get sick of the established guilds, for what ever reason and strike off on their own. Eventually they find other like minded folk. Guilds, like nations rise and fall.

[Itan] has been around for over 5 years in its current form, and longer as IDF/IA and INM. New guilds every 2 months are not necessary for a successful nation, and from what I've seen do much more harm than good.

Very accurate statement, the issue with new guilds is that the CO of a new guild has to have the patience and dedication to stick with their new creation until it is able to walk on its own. This is the major falling point in new guild creations and leads to the disbanding of guilds.

However Ryan, I do disagree with your statement that all the four largest guilds are generally care bear. I know you and I have had our moments in the past but you should at least acknowledge PA has definitely deviated from that trend. Not only are we actively engaging the nationalist militants of ONE and ITAN who have been invading bractus but we've also remained at odds with the pirate guilds. PA has been in plenty of wars since it's inception (one's you and I have fought together in). PA has definitely fought a lot more than a guild like, lets say, BLF. What is your definition of carebear ryan?

to Slime: PA did not get "butthurt" but we definitely stopped being your friends when you invaded bractus. How were we supposed to react. You guys may not rp anymore (example: PA having to fight both ONE and ITAN since they are too lazy to fight each other) but PA remains it's own RP entity as it has for over four years now. You guys better hope niki's alt sticks around and continues to save your ass in battles.

Actually Miex, since its inception the BLF has been in a constant state of war/combat operations. Whether it be siding with a guild it finds has compatible interests, the brief skirms with PA, the suicide missions against ITAN... (OK, they were not planned to be suicide missions, they just worked out that way)... or just the constant battle against its stated enemies.

One of the BLFs better battles...



Not too bad for one BLF pilot Vs. PA, I count one BLF pilot with 6 kills as opposed to PA's 4. That has to be a little embarrassing for you guys.

At any rate the BLF will remain as it has... on its own side, choosing and maintaining alliances with those it sees fit to.

What do I consider care bear? This comes to mind...

Theres also the carebear alliance of PA/TGFT/ITAN/ONE that tried to control all the stations until it failed due to infighting, and ONE and ITAN coming to their senses and remembering who they are.

There are many ways to define care bear. Those are the two that spring to the front of my mind.
