Being all nostalgic about the old days and watching a video from years ago of one of these amusing events I am considering the idea of hosting a combat racing event
For those of you who have never heard of such a thing because you haven't been around 5-6 years here is what it entails
-A group of ships huddling up at the entrance of a tube race armed with weapons and the lightest/heaviest ship they think they can survive and win a race in
-All those ships racing at once and being allowed to try and kill the racers ahead of them (kinda like vendetta mario kart)
-Hilarious and bloody tube race combat resulting in 1 or 0 winners
If this were to occur there would be a max of 4-5 racers per heat if there were enough participants for multiple heats the winners of each heat would face each other in another race to determine the winner tournament style
prizes up for debate as this is a rough idea at the moment

Make 2 teams, starting from opposing sides. Only one can emerge in the other side.

Hell I showed up at a few of these years ago, and yeah they were fun! Hmm, the Greyhound might actually just be a good Centurion killer! Maybe I'll show to test it out!

Ok so Saturday at 3pm EST (8PM GMT...I think now that all that BST and DST crap is over) it is
This one might be a bit messy as there aren't really too many if any rules in place at this point other than win the race

Pets, if you can somehow get a pet to race with you that will be very impressive
Mines, who are you going to mine if everyone else out accelerates you the second the race starts
Swarms, that seems more likely to kill the shooter in the closed quarters of the tube then anyone else
