I still think you miss the point of a gunner. you shouldn't be expecting kills you should be expecting to keep the pilot alive longer by delaying aft attacks

Yes, there are still "dead zones", e.g. I landed flare or dual-flare in the side, while your Atlas was passing by, and btw head-to-head firepower is still the same.

I don't really believe 1 gunner can save pilot in 8500 armor-vessel during NW.

Concerning rules.

I hardly disagree that grey team accepts only tri-KOS characters. E.g. My another pirate character Shadow Phantom (hated/dislike (-594)/hated) was not accepted to NW. The same with Az. She's neutral to itani/KOS/KOS and, as I understood, was forced to fight for Itanis. (Correct me if I am wrong).

I wasn't forced Pirren-dear.I chose to fight for the Itani instead of the grey team.

However, the tri-KOS rule is a bit strange and has been strange since the lifting of FF in grey. Unless it is to prevent peeps playing grey team instead of nation. Which is plain wrong somehow.

Have the requirement be -600 or less with your home faction. You can't join the other two factions because, obviously, you're not of that faction, so the only remaining option is grey.

It seems there has been way too much bull crap over something so simple, though tri-KOS pilots will always have more respect in my eyes.
