Phoenix Alliance [PA] Betting
We will not be giving odds for the introductory round of betting on the Nation War and the Deneb Run. We will calculate odds once some additional work is finished with the Phoenix Casino. The first round of betting will be conducted as a shared group lottery, where essentially your "numbers" are who you pick to win, and the winning "numbers" are who actually wins.
Quick details:
To place a bet or open an account contact Mulle Barap. You will be allowed to bet 10k, 100k or 1 million credits at a time.
Payment for bets is due at the time your bet is placed. You may open an account by depositing credits at any time and then place your bet remotely.
Each bet will have two picks. For Nation War, picks will be Winning Team and Sole Survivor. For Deneb Run picks will be 1st place and 2nd place.
The more credits you bet the higher your total winnings may be.
We will be conducting betting on more events and even sponsoring additional events very soon.
Extended details:
- We are allowing a maximum of 1 bet per player in the amounts of 10k, 100k or 1 million credits. We will allow multiple bets down the road, and possibly in higher amounts.
- 75% of your bet amount will go into the option 1 pool, 25% of your bet will go into the option 2 pool. We may adjust these percentages down the road depending upon user input. (Option 1= 1st Place/Winning Team, option 2 = 2nd place/Sole Survivor)
- Bet levels: 1M = 100%, 100k = 10%, 10k = 1%
- Assuming you are the only winning better and you correctly guess 1st & 2nd place, you will get the entire pool divided by your bet level. For example: you correctly guess 1st AND 2nd place, and your bet was 1M, you get the entire pool. Assuming you're the only winning better and your bet level was 100k, you would get the entire pool divided by 10. Assuming you ONLY correctly guessed 1st place, your winnings would be 75% of the entire pool divided by 10.
- Credits left over in the pool will be carried over to later events of the same category. For example, after NW if nobody wins any bets the entire pool will be carried forward to the next round of NW betting. This will allow the pool to grow quickly as we conduct more bets.
- Your bet level determines your maximum winnings, and all possible winnings are split between winners based on their bet levels.
- All bets & deposits are tracked, so you are welcome to deposit money into your betting account at any time so that you may place bets without being in the same sector as the bookie.
- [PA] may deduct a small percentage of all bets for overhead and administration down the road, if so it will be public.
- All bets are confidential, but we will announce on public channels the total amount of bets placed periodically.
- [PA] will be donating money to the pool initially to encourage betting.
- All rules and procedures are subject to change.

The first round of betting on the Deneb Run went great. We had a total of 15,600,000c in bets.
There were three winning bets, each on Maxx Metal to win the race. No winning bets for 2nd place runner-up Ipslet. Each winning bet of 1 million paid out 3.9 million. Thanks to all who bet!
