Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate.
Participants must be on their nation's team unless they can make a claim to be unaligned in which case they may choose to fight for Grey.
You may not start fighting until the host signals the start of the battle - this includes the 15 minute period prior to the planned starting time.
You may not return to the battle sector after you have left except to observe from a healthy distance in a bus.
No running from the asteroid field.
The last team standing wins.

This week's prize was brought to you in part by La Familia. Thanks!

I've noticed lately that there have been a lot of ignorant newbs showing up to "watch" in ships that are not an EC-88 or EC-89. I am going to adjust my nation war plugin to add a line like this: "You get one life. When you die, you are out. You may return to observe, but ONLY in an EC-88 or EC-89." Maybe I'll also set up a pm version of the full rules dump, and maybe an auto trigger, so that I can add something like 'For the full rules, do /msg "Rin Ganborro" nw_rules' and have it automatically spam them directly to that person when I receive that string. Hopefully these ideas will take care of the bulk of the non-bus observers.

I do apologize for the extent to which various nonsense happened today. I was somewhat distracted by real-life and didn't manage to keep up with it all well enough.

Also, I forgot to say this in-game, but "popcorn 51515", you are banned from participating next week due to warping in long after the start of NW. I give very clear warnings about how much time is left before NW starts. Either be there on time, or don't show up at all.
