One allows me to take over any account I choose and control the characters on my other monitor. The other keeps track of login/logout, locations, inventories, current ship, credits, and other player stats for everyone in the game, and lets me adjust them should I choose to. Example: Storage fees are actually half of what is deducted every week on Saturday, I take the rest. $$$

I have a score of plugins that make VO a lot simpler. More time to blow things up, less spent doing menial tasks (i.e. hauling ships).

Not entirely sure what you mean, but ok. If you have a problem with plugins, that's fine, but don't degrade others for using what amount to neat VO updates the devs don't have time to do.

The people who complain about plugins are just frustrated because they still haven't figured out how to install them yet. That, or they're so braindead that they actually think plugins let us cheat.

My /honk plugin is so far beyond hax it isn't even funny. Poor newbies without it stand NO chance. Don't even need my other 37 plugins.

Even plugins that DO help with combat in some sense, like cfire and multiaim are just making some task you can do yourself more convenient. If somebody is beating you while using them, that person will almost certainly beat you without them as well. Trade databases are similar; you could copy the information by hand, but it's more fun for everyone if people spend less time looking for trade routes and more time flying them.

I think that to a certain extent, plugins can actually start being quite harmful to the fun in VO... I.e., the DB's ability to track players last known whereabouts. But, unless the devs say it's bad, all is well, I guess.
