FreeRoam Store - Beta
The FreeRoam Store is almost ready for the official launch and has been updated to version 0.4, the official release candidate.
The Store is located at game channel 22 and comes with an updated Customer's Manual that explains how it works.
*****New features in version 0.4:
* Item names are not case sensitive anymore
* Common abbreviations for certain items can now be used (see the manual for a list)
* Price recommendations have been implemented (see the manual for details)
* Avalon, Hive Posis and HE Beams have been added to the items list
* Several improvements on the guild-internal stocking and stock checking mechanisms
*****
For questions and feedback please visit the FreeRoam Forums and post to the FR Store's Customer Service.
This testing release is accompanied by the launch of a widespread FreeRoam advertising campaign, featuring good old-fashioned digital posters, some of which will be first shown here (step by step).

/edit: Added forum link. P.S.: http://store.freeroam.net is currently not up-to-date but will be rewritten shortly.

This is actually pretty cool. Nice work man.
Thank you very much. :)
There is still a lot to do however. In the meantime:

yarr!! very interesting!
Andy, very cool!
Will this service be available to all factions and/or pirates?
In the interests of good RP, I'd suggest one price for UIT in good standing, a higher price for UIT in bad standing or non-UIT in good standing, and an even higher price for outlaws.....if you're going to cater to our crowd ;)

Why would they offer protection for outlaws at all?
Who said anything about protection?
They may be terrorists, but they are UIT terrorists, and therefor corrupt as two year old butter on a summer day. So, I don't see why they wouldn't sell to pirates who have good UIT standing, unless said pirate was known to harass people inside UIT space.

Slight misunderstanding there.
I think the 'service' Savet was referring to was the Store only. And to answer his questions: Yes, we will be selling to all UIT citizens (including those of a doubtful reputation) and all those Serco / Itani with a UIT standing of 'Admire' or 'Pillar of Society'.
The next release will, as mentioned above, include price recommendations (sic!), but we will encourage our retailers to give a "good UIT" discount and get the most they can out of potentially criminal subjects.
And Rin is basically right (although i disagree with the butter analogy): Pirates might become costumers of our store, but will still not be tolerated inside UIT space and directly along its borders.
To completely clarify this: The 'protection' merely applies to innocent, preferably unguilded UIT citizens and FR members that choose to indulge in trading and mining (as well as any other FR members of course).

Grats, FR!
After a bad start, you seem to have found the righteous way... and promoting innovation

Thank you Alloh.
After some heavy development we have finally released version 0.4 of ShopBot - featuring price recommendations, abbreviations and removing case sensitivity. When testing last night I couldn't find any new bugs or errors and it all seems to be running smoothly.
Due to the update however, and because FR's bot "FreeRoam" (the Host of the Store) has been moved to another server), all previously saved stock data has been lost and will have to be re-gathered as the Store's Retailers log on (i.e. don't wonder about a temporarily empty stock for almost every item).
I can also proudly announce that the first transaction of the FreeRoam Store has been made, thank you very much Interstellar for being our first customer!
I edited the top post for v0.4.
And now for something completely different:
