The ANML Combat School Manifesto:

Our mission is simple: Foster the growth and development of a new breed of pilot. One who fights honorably and with conviction, and for nothing more than the sheer thrill of combat and the culmination, addition and perfection of technique.

For we are at the dawn of a new age, an age in which the blood of two thousand years of warring nations has congealed beneath our feet to form this grand stage we find ourselves placed upon, confused and without direction. Born with naught but a flag to bear and the prospect of immortality. For reasons many refuse to internalize nor investigate we follow the fray and launch volley after volley blindly into the crowds our forefathers consequentially bound us to in war.

And now we have reached an eclipse of dichotomous forces. The unstoppable light of our beautiful wartime technological advances has reached the cold immovable sphere of our own immortality. Why should we fight on into the night with hatred and delusion when at this point in the history of our species we have finally found an enjoyable, sustainable style of life without fear of death?

What we have now is a chance to spend eternity perfecting the art of combat without the childlike acceptance of ideals gleaned from fearful, lost men of war. For this is no longer war. It is a game we have been born into. A game in which we can satisfy our pointless bloodlust on the hull of an opponent's ship and then work with him as a team hunting cargo and sipping Serco ale moments later with comradery!

ANML stands for the unification of all nations, the enlightenment of all individuals to the potential of this new age and the hilarity of our fruitless bigotry, and for the evolution of individual potential as fighters. Let laughter and shouts of praise echo across the stars while the ale pours cold for eternity!

There are a lot of long words in there, Miss; we're naught but humble pirates

Simplified version: ANML = Fight Club of VO (Minus the soap and the cult chanting and the invisible underlying political agenda). In short, we get together and just beat the shit outta eachother and get stoned and help eachother get better and share stoner/combat technique.

Ever smoke weed out of a watermelon? You just gotta cut it in half, long-ways, scoop out a little watermelon (save for later), and then puth the halves back together (i use toothpicks to keep the two halves together). Then just carve a hole on top at an angle at one end, and a conical bowl on the other (like you would with an apple) and HUZZAH!! perhaps not very practical but one hell of a tasty rip thats for sure.

Wait, what were we talking about?

Surely, that was the longest definition of "Care Bear Alliance" I have ever read. We already have those that fight with honor and band together when a friend is in need. FAMY, THC, the BLF, CHRN, CLM and EMS. The rest of the universe is to entangled in political plots and the endless activities of inserting knives into each others backs when it suits them.

Betraying their nations, their people and their heritage.

As your intent seems to be bringing honour to those who have long forgotten that the very word even exists... in that, I wish you the best. Though I believe your venture to have failed before it starts.

Uniting the universe however, is what has led so many away from honour.

Itani and Serco pilots flying side by side, UIT selling arms to both real powers and the Serco and Itani people accepting it... not realizing that it is the UIT that is the true enemy. And it is not the fault of the UIT that they are the enemy either... the UIT live in constant fear. Fear that the Serco or Itani will invade the territories. Fear that the war will end and the easy profits will stop. Fear that they will have to work for a living.

So they perpetuate the war. They try to bring their laws of profit to the only bastions of freedom and independence left. They scheme and plot and manipulate Serco and Itani pilots into doing their bidding as they try to bring Gray space under their control. Which in turn forces the natural citizens of Latos, Ukari, Helios, Sedina, Odia, Bractus, Edras and Pelatus to turn their attentions from their honourable duties and defend their homes and families from the hordes of savage invaders...

Damn... your tangent has made me go off on a tangent of my own.

/me laughs.

I don't seek advice from hippies. Though I must say... where I was not certain that this was just another "Care Bear Alliance" attempt to perpetuate their own agenda, remove all danger from the universe and force others... the few truly free and independent pilots, to submit to their control. Which is to say, I held out for hope.

The hope was short lived. All the pretty words served a sinister purpose, to distract from the truth... to call attention away from the knife held behind your back. As frequently happens with hope, hope was quietly murdered. Murdered with a blade slid between the ribs of the back, stabbed on angle, into the lungs, which then filled with blood, so that hope could not cry out. Could not scream or indeed utter a sound... just a faint gurgle, as hope quite literally drowned in her own blood.

If that is the death of something so innocent as hope at your hands, one wonders... how familiar with honour can you be?

Look, if you're going to do it, do it right. Knife a girl named Hope in the back with an upward thrust through the rib cage and you'll still be hearing a deeply unpleasant shriek -- it'll just involve some blood mist that's damn sure to ruin your fine broadcloth shirt.

If you want her to bleed out and go cold quietly, either slash the trachea below the vocal cords at the same time you cut the jugular and carotid, so there's some actual blood pressure drowning out her expelled air, or, use a lower upward thrust-n-cut motion to destroy her diaphragm.

Now, what were we talking about? Ah yes, care bears.
