State of Nation War

Nov 07, 2013 Surbius link
Who's hosting? Because if no one is I don't mind.

Typical rules like 'ye olde' Nation Wars, no excessive running, observing, stuff like that. Four teams, all ships, all weapons, base 10mil prize, donations accepted. And, the usual late start.

What do ya say?

Boo on 4 teams.

What's your stance on capships?

My philosophy is that, if you are going to the trouble of hosting the nation war, you get to set the rules. Let me make a humble request that you use the "Event Submission" form at least a few days in advance (3 or more is best, probably) because it does a lot to raise awareness of the event for new players / outsiders.

For continuity's sake, here is the RP thread from the most recent nation war (#366).

^ There was one more NW after that. So for the sake of the score add another to the Itani (fucking Smurfs)

Awesome. I had to ask though. I've been told to leave the Trident at home even though it's been "all ships"

+1 to phaserlight--- you host NW you make the rules, anyone who complains can go make a serco account.

lol gw. I agree.

I would propose, however that there be different scores based on what teams are allowed that week.
For example a different scoreboard for Serco/UIT/Itani, and a different one for Serco/Itani/UIT/Grey etc.
Since the exclusion of a grey team does not allow the progression of a grey score, this would be very biased against grey.

If grey was a nation, their government would probably be upset about that, huh?

Lol.

Let's make an experiment ban the Itani so called nation and let see if the smurf government complains 'bout it XD

+1 to Phaserlight: the host makes the rules. No matter what those rules end up being, somebody isn't going to like them. Such is life.
