Bad language isn't what gets a thread locked. Your thread was probably locked because ray thought it would devolve into a useless mass of entirely justified insults against you, and the devs get annoyed when that sort of thing happens in the general forum. Since he had to go through the effort of moving the thread anyway, he probably figured he might as well just lock it while he was at it and save you the trouble of being insulted quite so much (obviously you're too much of a glutton for punishment to let that stop you).
