Yeah, I got to Dau L-10 yesterday and they were telling racial jokes in Sector Chat. Castellen Mutara was the "narrator" of the one i happened upon. The punch line was a response to why there were more blacks than indians in the US. The actual punch line was "cause we haven't gotten around to playing cowboys an [n-word]s yet."

Mutara tried to argue it wasn't racial and raged at me when I called him on in, instead of saying something like, "yeah my bad -poor taste."

If they keep him as a member, it's indicative of their standards.

Castellen is my main beef too. Not only is his taste in humour lacking, he cannot keep threats to in game means. But he's not my only concern. Asi resorting to mom comments after I popped her a couple of times was also just as immature.

If they want to be immune to being shot - and then cry like tweenies when they do get shot - maybe they shouldn't mine in Odia? Also, everybody draws their own personal line in a different spot when it comes to what constitutes unacceptably racist jokes. A great deal of humor basically involves making fun of somebody. Blondes, rednecks, geeks, jocks, the British, etc. Just because a person decides that the other person said a joke that is offensive and shouldn't have been said doesn't necessarily mean they think it was so offensive that moderator action should be taken -- particularly when we do have the option of simply hunting them down and killing them and anybody who supports them.
