Minor thing that has been annoying me: the phrase is "holier than thou", not "holier than though". And while I'm on the topic, it's "couldn't care less", not "could care less". Sorry if that seems nitpicky.
Regarding the word "faggot", I do understand what you're getting at -- you pick the words that bother the people you insult, not the words that you feel are actually insulting. Unfortunately, there are some problems with this when it comes to "faggot". One is that so many people use the term because they are in fact homophobic that by using it you associate yourself with them. Somebody who doesn't know you has no reason to assume you aren't a bigot. Of course, if you don't care whether people mistake you for a bigot, this doesn't matter... but clearly you do care or you wouldn't be protesting.
The second and larger problem is that treating homosexuality as an insult helps to perpetuate the notion that there is something wrong with homosexuality. Intentional or not, it creates a subconscious perception in the people who observe it.

If Greenwall had some tact and wasn't a complete forum troll, he might have made a better point, but Greenwalls point seemed more "Galanoth is bad, let's shun him" in contrast to your "The word faggot is bad. Let's shun that word". Now I could care less of what people think of me, so Greenwalls attempts were, again, redundant. But I do have a bit of empathy for how other people feel, so your point hit closer to home.

Actually it started out as a thread listing your favorite PvP loadouts (read the title) and it delved into Greenwall having a solo jerk into a bucket of his self righteousness.

Galanoth's side of the story seems more factual and accurate than greenwall's and genka's. I get it kids, he pissed into your wheaties this morning and now you're out for revenge, but it's time for you to apologize to him for ruining his thread. Bullying is wrong!

I only vaguely remember your name Galanoth but if you've played for TGFT before, odds are you've run into me and cursed at me for killing you once or twice. Funny how you're now in FAMY. Yes, I have a handful of alts scattered all over in different guilds.
As for my favorite "new players" to pvp with, I don't have any. All of them taste the same, really. My encounter with new players usually go like this: I sit out at the Edras B-11 wormhole, out comes a revenant or a centurion, and I finish him off within 5 seconds. Most of them said nothing. Occasionally some of them started spamming 100 with naughty, inappropriate words, telling me he'd find me IRL and beat me with a baseball bat.
Back then when the VPR guild was active, it was fun gloating at them on 100 and massacring them.

No, I only make it sound like what I said. Extrapolating any further criticism about RL is just you projecting your own insecurities. Obviously there's nothing wrong with not playing VO.
