I know sham. I was mainly clarifying for players that might not know what he means by "blaster"

obviously the name of the weapon needs to have "mk I" in it, so aaps and LENBs are excluded.

There are no weapons with mk1 on them. Only mk2 and up. But I understand what you were trying to say.

The idea is to fight with low level ship and low level weapons, that everyone can buy, so skills and strategy have a greater impact on the result rather than gear difference.
Ship and setup will change for each edition.
You can put whatever weapon you fancy on your XC, though, but sedina chocolates would be much appreciated. :p
