Nation Wars #421
Vendetta-OnAir (VOA), is proud to bring you Nation Wars #421 this November 15th.
*** The TIME will be 5PM Eastern Standard Time, 2PM Pacific, 10PM Sunday GMT (Or 22:00 /time in game) ***
All citizens are welcome to participate, there is no entrance fee, exact Prize Amount is to be determined and depends on donations (Will be at least 10 Million Credits!). Some of it could be yours!
The Basic Rules are as follows:
1.) Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate.
2.) Participants must be on their nation's team unless they can make a claim to be unaligned in which case they may choose to fight for Grey if Grey team is allowed that week.
3.) Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate.
4.) You may not start fighting until the host signals the start of the battle - this includes the 15 minute period prior to the planned starting time.
5.) Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate.
6.) You may not return to the battle sector after you have left except to observe from a healthy distance in an EC-88 or EC-89.
7.) No running from the asteroid field.
8.) Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate.
9.) The last team standing wins.
10.) Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate.
This week all ships and Grey team is allowed.
Any guild or player is welcome to donate to the prize pot, and by doing so will earn mention during the event and in the results.

The fight seemed fun, apparently someone had brought a moth full of odds and ends into the sector right before the start and left lots of prizes. I was really sick and did lots of dumb stuff like running into roids and such, I was eager to go back to bed. In the end Harpo and Niki pulled out the win and each won 11,000,000 credits.

The prize pot came out to 20,101,000 credits. Thanks to VOA, PPT, pistachio, and a anonymous donor of 100,000 credit, sorry I was not able to find your name in my logs.

Don't forget that next week's Nation Wars starts at 19:00, I'll be adjusting times and such week by week to keep everyone on their toes and allow other players to participate. Typically will be on the calendar weeks before it happens.

joylessjoker in the coming weeks I will switch other things around as well besides just the starting time, in the past Valks were only allowed every other week, but I would probably combine a valk and prom ban. As well as having no grey team every now and then and having NW on a occasional Sat, instead of every Sunday. Simple changes to help keep people on their toes and allow other players to participate...
Hell I might even get up at 3 AM and host one just to help the other time zones.

There was a really cool last man standing event someone held recently only Vult MK1s and Mk1 blasters were allowed... unless you wanted to use an XC. I was an entire 5 min late and managed to miss the entire event. Damn punctual pirates.
I'll probably steal the idea for a future event on a day that isn't NW.
