I posted a new thread out of boredom (not lonely though I can pay for love by the hour)

Sieger, Estrian Prosis (his Lag helps :P), Faille Corvelle, Spidey, Conflict Diamond, Footballprophet, Malliik &co, the best I have fought is Nahin Lor.
The guild page says Mal's last login was 2012-05-06 01:00:14 - did he make a new char? Of those listed so far, Mal is probably the best; spidey was quite capable but lag-boxed and was open about it. The rest...well, it has been a while and some people do make dramatic gains (see, e.g., strat, who once upon a time sucked donkey balls and then learned how to flare properly).
An active player hasn't been named yet. I nominate reverliss even though he has taken to back rolling he's the best back roller ive fought.
Open about it; only thing open about me is how I'm not gonna have any reservations about what I'm gonna do with your ass for spreading baseless shit, your anal sphincter's gonna pretty open about it when I'm done too.
Sorry spidery I think you forgot but the development foxed the weight hacks .your negative mass no longer works. Hence your complaint about fine mouse tuning. Aka your shoi without your cheats and that's why your afraid to play even with the free week
Look at the duel ladder, and ignore inactive players. It's not a perfect metric (some good players don't /duel or take their rating too seriously) but it sums it up relatively well.
Spidey, you were a fine energy pilot, and gauss battles with you were damn fun. But you were also a fucking cheater, and there's no denying that. Next.
I don't believe in "the one best PvPer". I have fought many competent pilots over the years. Asking for active ones is a tough call as they come and go. I'll mention the most notable ones in the past 60 days.
1. Estrian Prosis: He is not a lovely boy, but he's cute when he points at you and then trips and falls. Can't deny that he is a competent pilot. I enjoy fighting him to the point that the battle is over. Because if I win, he's not going to say "gf" back and instead he damands his Mac from Australia. If he changed this, I'd enjoy fighting him a lot more.
2. Footballprophet: He's on the list because he is a decent pilot and because he is probably the only one who has not partaken in shit throwing and has been respectful, no matter what. Fights with him are enjoyable and fair, no matter if flown with all energy or with our artful flare throwing.
3. spidey: spidey's not the most active, but certainly fun to fight. Either I improved a good bit or he is majorly out of touch. He's still decent, but I remember him to be nearly untouchable 2 years ago or so.
4. Roda Slane: This guy's a sneaky man. He has his moments in PvP, especially with flares.
Other than that I'd like to mention that there are a lot new, promising pilots who will certainly fly among the "all-time greats" some day. So the old veterans here should log in some more, instead of crying over those who are not with us in space any longer.

It is hard playing VO on an outdated video driver, using a MacBook Pro that burns your lap, and removes 80% of your FPS periodically purely because the integrated GPU is broken. But sure, claim your win :P
