All citizens are welcome to participate, there is no entrance fee, exact Prize Amount is to be determined and depends on donations (Will be at least 10 Million Credits!). Some of it could be yours!

1.) Only those who are on-time are allowed to participate.
2.) You may not start fighting until the host signals the start of the battle - this includes the 15 minute period prior to the planned starting time.
3.) You may not return to the battle sector after you have left except to observe from a healthy distance in a EC-88 or EC-89.
4.) No running from the asteroid field.
5.) No groups - Last man standing wins.
6.) Ship Restrictions - Vulture MkI + any MkI blaster (non faction specific) or a Behemoth XC

Any guild or player is welcome to donate to the prize pot, and by doing so will earn mention during the event and in the results.

Ok to clarify the weapon restrictions, this means the blasted has to have mk2/3/etc variation to be considered mk1 right? So no LENBs or Hive Posis etc?

Yeah, I am guessing he meant that with "non faction specific" blasters.
Sadly this one will be too late for me... I like the ship restrictions though.

I would say he means mk1 only. No mk2 neuts. No ravens. No AAP. Etc.

Acceptable blasters would be normal positron, neut mk1, gauss mk1, flechette mk1 etc. If he was going to allow mk2/3 he wouldn't have clarified mk1.

Lazy, you didn't clarify the question asked by jordan, that I clarified based on my understanding. Can you please provide clarification on mk2/mk3 variants of normal weapons?

Why are you asking if Mk2/Mk3 weapons are allowed when the rule says any MkI blaster?

By definition, those aren't Mk1s. There's some lack of clarity in the rule to be sure, but not as to those items.

That was my understanding, but jordan asked it and lazy failed to clarify it in his last post, so I am asking for official clarification that my interpretation is accurate.

I know mk2 and up isn't allowed... An LENB isn't a mkanything so I was just clarifying before someone showed up with an LENBmk1.

I would personally consider a LENB to be a special edition of the Neutron Blaster and the Neutron Blaster Mk I it's Mk I variant.

But yes, just Mk I blasters, so I guess the best clarity to the rule is it needs to have Mk I in the name. Unless there are stock blasters I cannot think of atm that do not say Mk I.

Well LaZy.... None of them have mk1 in the name. That was just the clarification I was trying to get. I understand that it means nuetron blaster, positron, ion, etc. The first variant. Bit some may claim that an LENB or a Hive Posi is a mk1 so I wanted it clarified so I don't get gunned down by some noob with better weapons.

I like that, give this event a different spin each time. So long as we don't get as bad as EC-88/89 with gov blasters... those fights are so slow it's annoying

I think I should still be able to host the event though, albeit probably at the bar of said restaurant with a wet burrito beside me, but I probably wont be able to announce the event shortly before hand like I try to do... Turns out the internet connection here at the restaurant blocks whatever port the update server uses, so I cannot log into the game and have to reschedule the event for next Fri night.
