So, among a heated debate about whether you could tell a mobile player from a pc player by their combat style, bangbang decided to invite everyone to sedina h9 for a team deathmatch game. Team captains were picked based on combat level, and then the teams picked out of all who showed up. And what a turnout! Greenwall, BangBang, 12netjuan, starblazzz, Phoenixgaurdian, pvt. joker, Lanigiro Elbbarcs, and myself all joined in the fun, and we were even graced with Thoth and Raybondo to spectate as the games went on! Teams were rechosen halfway through to try and even the playing feild, resulting in 4 total battles, the last one taking place in a black fog which reduced visibility to nearly nothing. All in all, this was great fun!

Sadly, I haven't a clue which team captain obtained the most wins, but I believe it was a win for captain greenwall 3-1. Correct me if I am wrong.

Awesome time! We need that sector to be in a fog always that was fun maybe green /blue 750 m visibility.

I wanted to see a black fog with blue ion storm particles. Anyways, that wasn't the main part of the fight ~~~

Honestly, I probably was the least helpful team member there; ill learn the secrets to pvp one of these days!

Greenwall hosted this event again today. We started in Sedina H-9, but moved to A-10 for Round 2 and 3, because multiple participants had framerate problems due to the big ice field that is being continually scanned in the background in the fog.
Escalation and I were chosen as team leaders and picked out group members for each round from the pool of participants.

Greenwall, TRI was already offering 2 million credits for each person that participated. You went above and beyond with the 10 million offering.

For the record, anytime that I'm involved with hosting or organizing this event (which I was both times), I will offer at least 2 million credits to everyone participating.

Greenwall and I just started asking people to come to Sedina for a team fight, and people showed up (then a dev showed up). If VO was like this every night, word would get out about how fucking awesome the combat is. A couple of my friends saw the fights from the first night and they're all subbers now.

Heh I'd like to apologize for uncle Esca in the last event. I was playing on my old office PC so I lagged like hell in round 1 when we played in the fogged sector. In round 3 I randomly froze and I think it was firsm who completely blasted the poor Valk to little pieces.

I should've not accepted the team captain role in this one, but I was hoping the ol' PC would still do the trick for me. I promise that in the next one, I will play on my proper gaming PC and be on a great internet Connection (and hopefully be a better captain/be more of use to the team) :P

So kenny, it's not my teams fault. I think they did a proper job!

I'm only half complaining about the credits. I wouldn't have given them out if I wasn't willing. But it did sorta feel like the majority of the people that showed up wouldn't have if it weren't for the monetary incentive <--- that's the unfortunate thing. I wish people would jump at the chance to show up to these things and not have to be lured with carrots.
