I know there are some new faces in there, but I do occasionally want to do a episode of a new player. #1, so I can not have my ass handed to me every episode and #2 to get a perspective on how new players feel about VO, maybe that will get Inc watching and then I can convince him to do an episode....

maybe actually interview someone who is playing this game. not some oldtime "veteran" who has not seriously played since 2 or 3 years but still thinks he is important cause he had an "impact" on the game some long time ago.

you need to get used to the VO playerbase evolving. most of the newer players do not know some of the "famous" old Players: an effect of time passing and an income of a lot of commited mobile players. interviewing players who are well known now should be the way. this doesn't cross out interviewing old players who are still playing of course. niki would be a good pick.

I think it's important to have a mix. Most new players don't know enough to have an informed opinion, so you have to balance that against players who know where we've been. I usually take a few months off at a time, and new players may not know me, but my casual play is still more consistent than some new player on a phone.

Also, whether they still play or not, veterans are part of VO history and I would love to hear the opinions and memories of some of the old timers.

But I absolutely agree we need newbs in the interview mix and grizzly space bear is a fine choice!

That list that Lazy had used; it had a good mix, I think. I do like listening to the older players, and this is a good way to get down a bit of the real history of VO, but I also would enjoy knowing some of my own VO generation's ideas. This sort of thing helps bind the entire community together well, I suppose.

I'd agree to do an interview, yes I'm one of the old timers but I do still play a lot. I might not always play as Yoda, but I am around and most new players hate me in one of my many forms!

Only problem is time zonage, I'd hate to do an interview after I've had a drink, and early mornings are a nono for me usually (work never ends for some, even Sundays!) Being a Brit makes arranging this kind of hard.
