No, SKV did not get bitchslapped by devs. I had to go on another continent to conduct my business and stayed there for 4 months.
When you are doing serious business you have no time to play silly imaginary spaceship games - you have RL work to do.

When I came back I found that VO has gone into a complete apathy.
Forums were stale and boring and the game itself has degraded to just a bunch of braggers sitting in b-8 shittalking and colluding with the scourge of VO - TGFT.
VOID actually did what TGFT always wanted, became their puppets and turned VO into a boring game where TGFT can roam free and play masters of the universe.

Serco and Itani veteran players have lost interest in a game like it is now and have left or took a break en masse.

In order to have a game we can enjoy we need players who actually provide the fun to come back.

It takes a series of small steps to start moving things into the right direction to make the game actually interesting to play for us VO veterans so we are doing them.

Accepting a war declaration from VOID is one of those small steps as is continuing our long standing war with TGFT.
Summer is always a bit slow but there will soon come a time when you will probably regret asking us to do more destruction.

This is an interesting thread. But I reject the premise that if you're not pewing or being pewed at then you're not playing VO right. If that's your game, fine. I respect that. But there's an awesome verse out there to be exploited. TRI or any other number of players play the game joyfully without pewing. How is their game different than mine? So what I like to amass credits? It's my game and quite frankly, none of your damn business how I play it.

Imagine this: you're playing mine craft-or whatever-trying to create some monumental structure and some ash clown keeps slapping the android out of your hands every five minutes. Kick him in the nuts, right? Same premise in VO, except not all of us grasp the 3 dimensional situational awareness and manueverabilty necessary for pvp. Not to mention some of us don't care to invest in a gaming computer, joystick, and throttle control. Respect that as I respect your game.

That being said, do what you will as you will anyways. I expect it and prepare for it. But don't expect me to think of you any different then as the ash clown standing next to me who desperately needs a real life kick to the nuts.
