I agree I should be more transparent and dedicated with NW as its host, I want to add that yoda does not backroll but does hold the rolling long enough to make flares a priority in my loadout when facing him. I say that out of respect and a motive of improving the flightstyle of players I see making easily correctable patterns, I prefer to let our cannons do the talkin if it's just going to turn into misinformation and shit tossin.

Pick one and stick with it, we've only 1v1d one session and that was it. I contacted you because even though you are a sworn enemy of many a friend of mine and at war with you and your guild I still want to see you, like yoda grow as pilots and people regardless of the amount of time registered in game. I was lucky enough to have very skilled pilots such as Rin, TRS, Sieger, CD and many more in my first encounter with VO nearly 8 years ago, I find myself even luckier to meet the same pilots today teaching me new and exciting processes of thought in the name of a good fight.

I was around for 400, Sieger was indeed doing a great job back then. If people feel their efforts are being recorded, they are both more likely to show up and will fight harder. All normal RP aside, I really think everyone would benefit from this.

The other things are mostly not true. If I was in a Hound, I was probably going somewhere. I usually don't fly them. Granted, you would kill me in a 1v1 with me in a Hound and you in a Valk. Would you fight my Valk in a Greyhound???

The thing about me running from furballs and me leaving my friends to die is bullshit. I usually even fly my Trident into furballs so I and my friends can rep for a tactical superiority over the enemy.

No Sieger, it's not irrational. Let me give you an example.

Me and my guild mates have been fighting with various serco guilds for ages. We fought thousands of big and small group battles during the last 12 years with even and uneven numbers on both sides.
Although we are sworn enemies we all fought with honor. Not a single Serco pilot (SoR/SCAR/ONE/RED) ran out of a fight nor any of the SKV.
That's called having guts and honor in combat and also respect for your opponents.
The finest example of this is Blitzkrieg Bob, he always kept coming no matter the odds and fought honorably till the bitter end. This guy deserves our utmost respect forever. Some people have it, some people don't. You and Blaqk belong to the latter group.

And, no, I don't think I should apologize to Blaqk.
If anything Blaqk should apologize to me for breaking my trust and using our friendly "shake the rust of old Bojan" practice for his chest-thumping on forums.

Thanks for replying in a friendly manner to my post bojansplash. I think you're idealizing... or glorifying the old days. There were always "dirty" war tricks and people running from the battlefield for various reasons. Although you won't believe me I was there under different names and I have a few clear scenarios in my head. It's part of VO and that's okay. We're playing a wargame.

We have to agree to disagree here. Of course you're right with saying that it's gotten worse. But that perception comes from all the personal attacks. Those were not there back in the day. These boring and long forum wars. You can't deny that you play a part in them. So do I at times. And that's why I've toned it down a little. Cause that's really the only thing I see that should not happen.

Otherwise I have to say that I do not play VO for your respect. Blaqk doesn't do that either. You'll have to live with that.

VOID ganks in b8, and runs when they are out of ammo. For all of my complaints about VOID, these are not two of them. I personally fight more as you describe Bojan, sometimes I won't repair until dead, and don't run ammo only ships, but stay when out on my combo builds. That being said, some of the against all odds type furbal fights I have been having with VOID lately have been completely enjoyable, challenging, and some of the best combat I've gotten in game. When Blaqk "gfs" and runs, I chase him, if he gets away, gf indeed. Sure it's not as fun a victory, but he does admit defeat when he fails to kill you.

Forum warfare is all well and good. Conflict and rivalry are important for RP. Dishonor is in the eye of the beholder, disrespect is universal. Being civil and being at each other's throats does not need to be mutually exclusive.

My bad, I was under impression that you were and was gullible enough to trust you. I learned my lesson now so it won't happen again.

Also cut the crap with the "elite". We never called ourself elite, others did and they did so because we are a closed group who apply sound combat tactics in group battles and usually win them.
I am the CO of SKV for ages because the original crew decided to honor me with the CO title for the merit of creating and maintaining the guild. Besides Ghost I am probably the best tactician the guild has, thats all.
In SKV we are all equal, rank does not mean a damn thing and we make all our decisions together. I never claimed I am anything but a decent pilot, there are virtually a dozen of exceptional pilots in SKV. Some of them haven't logged for years or months, some of them play regularly. It's how things in VO are nowadays.

Debatable, I don't think I am idealizing. Sure, recently there were situations when we would catch A-Dawgs dent alone and he would drop TUs on us and run or Dirty would use a swarm SCP in furball when he was agitated or pissed off but those were isolated incidents. Generally when we had group battles, nobody pulled any dirty tricks - everyone fought with honor to the last man.
I think Serco players can chip in to verify that too.

Personal attacks are very hard term to use here. We are anonymous people on internet playing an online game, there are no personal attacks unless someone says "I'm going to hack your IP, find you and go beat you in RL with a baseball bat."
RP forum exists for fun. People use it to post RP stuff, make jokes and puns, pull each others leg, tease, brag or just talk nonsense.You are taking this way too seriously.
Indeed, some time ago RP forums were bit more decent but the community changed, some ugly stuff happened and things got a bit different and out of hand.

About respect... of course you don't play for respect , anyones respect.
Respect is something you earn with your honorable in game actions in combat , same as the title of being called an honorable pilot.

This si something none of you will achieve in your lifetime in VO.

In my personal opinion, what I mean about RL attacks:

Using Bojans's age against him

Using Sieger's (or eckas) well known nationality against them.

Finding and posting RL content from someones social media

Using any homophobic language, especially as a negative

Mocking RL religious beliefs or real world political opinion.

Basically, anything unrelated to VO. Or referring to the player and not their character. We have enough game related stuff to rag on.

Bojan you're insane VOID is one of the most honorable guilds in VO.

You have not earned my respect based on your in game and off game actions, I'm sure many others share this viewpoint.

10 rounds 1v1 on video actually sounds like an awesome mini-event Blaqk, I would definitely be interested. Never video capture myself, if you shared what programs you use to record, I would be willing to help. Would be nice to have spectators point of view as well.

I use xsplit it's not free. Uploading footage of an unstable VO locking up and acting strangely, server-sided issues for sure.

I welcome anyone to this offer of 10 round match of recorded duels the more footage the better.
