any type of behemoth
Any type of weapon/turret
In a asteroid sector
People have told me that it sounds fun, but people need good prize pots to come.

How about no weapons for the pilot and no missile turrets. It becomes like the battles of old. The helmsman has to steer the ship into position to attack. In this sense, the pilot has to maneuver for his gunners to have a good shot. Will require a very good pilot with good situational awareness and gunners able to actually hit shit.

AV's only for pilots.

Anything goes for turrets.

Avs, while an interesting idea, are expensive. For this idea to work the ships will need to be relatively cheap and the prize relatively large to draw the kinds of crowds NW does.

Of course, xperia, you could offer AV'S at a good discount and put all profits from it into the prize pool. Spend a couple of hours farming avalons/sss. Sell the SSS for prize money and sell avalons to the participants for say, 50k per launcher. Profits into the pool. Assume you farm up 20 avalons, you can likely make a million or more from SSS sales to make the prize more interesting. Set up a contract deal with someone like TRI for purchase of the sss. I'm sure a big manu guild like them is always hungry for the stuff.

Or only allow conc mines. No damage potential, but sending your opponent spinning in something as bulky as a moth could be loads of hilarity.

I still hold with the no missiles. You go from gunners trying to get a shot to gunners picking a target and spamming. Boring.

2: i like in the uk, a lot of VO players like in america, eithopia, etc, so timing is a isuue.

Cant suggest anything for you being a dick in game lol. Try to be nice and get people to forget? Make an alt to be a dick.

I suggest creating an online registry for moth teams, and instead of having it be a set in time event, have it be tournament style and make the scheduling up to the individual teams. Have the teams responsible for all personal expenses when it comes to ships and weapons.

In order to hold the winnings use some form of trustworthy guild when it comes to deals online, like TRI or something if you don't think people will trust you.

Make a post in RP following the tournament, and have the brackets posted online.

If a moth furbal was more of what you were going for, have it so each team can bring up to 2 moths.
