My shit excuse of a tablet just broke and I can't play VO. I can't install it on my computer because it is pretty much unplayable. This is a crappy computer. Who knows how long I'll be gone for. Though, it could be fortunate for some pilots because well, I won't around pirating. So there's that.

P.S. Once I return, I expect lots of monies fer the times I wasn't in me WTD piratin' ye all. yarr. /me wipes away a ghostly tear.

What kind of computer do you have? I have a feeling with a bit a tweaking you could get it running.

Pop it open, and blow all the dust of the heat sink. If the GPU has its heat sink, do the same. I have seen seemingly nearly dead laptops come back to life after that treatment.

No its not. Laptops get stored and used in a lot environments; many less than ideal. If there is not a filter to protect against dust, then dust will clog a heat sink. Which results in the the cpu/gpu/etc overheating. All of which results in a poorly operating computer.

On my HP 8510w, i also found it helpful to reapply the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU as the original stuff they used when building the laptop was not applied well.

Dell inspiron 1545 here. No issues, but so slow. Vista was binned for Ubuntu very quickly though.
