Last night members of [DOOM] initiated a blockade of the Latos H-2 Wormhole. At first it was slow, but then many people showed up. The majority of players that showed up didn't pay so [DOOM] had to destroy them. One of the casualties was a [VOID] Trident Type-M piloted by the greenhorn Nyscersul.

The sucess of this blockade is in no way DOOM's own sucess
It was SWA and EDIT who made the blockade sucessful.

Thats because nyscersul doesn't charge to M7 at TRS speed when he is attacked!

Also, if you learnt to read, doom are bragging abou shooting stingrays and HX at the trident while the rest of the 10GF did the work TRS

Actually hx and stingray are good against tridents, thanks for proving how noobie VOID membears are. Stingray's do more damage than swarms. And plasma hx on 3 ports has great damage sustainability. But I killed his trident with a regular positron blaster.

I have yet to see any DOOM even scratch the paint of my ship. Most of the time I meet DOOM, they don't even realize I am in the sector and shout "wth killed me??" on 100 when you boom their slowly drifting ship in grey space.

I had fun probing these defenses. It's interesting to see how player capital ships are changing the dynamics of play in sector conflicts.

It was an enjoyment to see DOOM newbies team together in the last few days and have some genuine VO fun, even with stingrays and plasmas and whatnot.

Everyone having fun is what online games like VO are all about.

I think Traveller11 hit the jackpot with his comment above. Congrats on pinpointing the major problem VO is experiencing nowadays.

1. The enemy of VOID starts up a "newbie" guild with some actual newbies and supports them heavily in furballs.
2. VOID sees whats actually going on and kills the poor newbies alongside its enemies.
3. The enemy of VOID whines how about the game is being ruined by "promising" newbie guilds getting "griefed" off.
