[VOID] declares war on [TRI]!

Few TRI have shown face since this declaration. One has, and he has been wiped from space immediately. Poor Galaxy Knight had 2 Behemoths destroyed in grey space. It is not save to fly as a TRI pilot!

I suggest that SARC contact every old TRI members. I am sure there are still reasonable people in there who have simply not heard of what has happened!

Just putting this here to keep the account accurate. Darth if you think you cleaned up your mess and lots of people still like you, think again. Thanks for admitting your role though, that was a bit of information I did not know (but speaks to TRS' certainty about Neon not being booted from TRI).

playing around with other people's stuff on sdf.org let me find this odd page. enjoy!

regarding the topic, Nihilus, I haven't even seen you online since this occurred - is leaving a boiling pot of poison to cool off considered cleaning? its still poison in the end.
Mar 12, 2017 Sieger link
I haven't seen any TRI pilots ever since we started actively killing them. We told them the story and they resigned and joined up SARC. So TRI is pretty much a one man guild now, with Nihilus sporadically playing.

So to answer your question Luxen: Yep, he did clean the mess by simply being the last guy left in TRI. There is no one in TRI who could be mad at him since he is ALONE in TRI. :-P All the people who disagreed with him and actually play VO already left TRI.

But Darth never cheated.
Mar 12, 2017 greenwall link
No, Darth and Neon didn't cheat since all plugins are used at one's own risk according to Guild Software. Rather, they broke US law. Darth and Neon Black intentionally sought, via deceptive practices, to install malware on Blaqk's device which would give them unauthorized access in order to defraud and obtain value (in the form of game credits). This is one of the seven possible offenses of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.

But that's ok, right myacumen?

And before the usual shitstains launch into the usual "tgft utility" rants, the biggest difference between TGFT Utilities and what Darth and Neon did is that we have a direct admission on the part of both of them that it was their intention to steal from Blaqk.
Mar 12, 2017 myacumen link
Yes, that is perfectly acceptable.

Perhaps you should send the Justice Dept a support ticket.
Mar 13, 2017 Darth Nihilus link
Greenwall you're a bit late buddy. All the above information is common knowledge.

I actually did clean up the mess immediately after it happened. Jumped through the regular ponyboy hoops I would usually jump through when someone did something wrong. VOID was cool with TRI.

There was a separate event that lead to the disbandment of TRI and thereby creation of SARC. This wasn't an accidental event either. I wanted to realign TRI in the direction it was always intended to be. And that was not the peaceful builders we used to be.

<Greenwall> I don't like you enough to fight you

Greenwall, you like me enough to post chatlogs of me to the forums, but not enough to fight me in game. You've got a strange playstyle bro.

I fought void 3 on1on an alt and when I killed all 3 of them they called me a griefer even though they initiated the fight. Then I fought greenwall 1v1 on the alt and he ran to his trident and started hopping in out just shooting swarms and reloading while every time he docked he said that I should a paid. I guess greenwall got used to abusing the bug where every time he reloaded avalons he got paid.

My choice to withhold honorable pvp from people who have fucked me over in game does not in any way limit my ability to criticize Darth and Neon for attempting to install malware on Blaqk's device and steal valuable game credits from him. They are not comparable actions. Nice try though, guys. Defend Darth and Neon all you want. It's pretty clear some of you think there is no line someone can cross when it comes to getting revenge on a common enemy in a space game.

Here Wally, I think you need these

@Greenwall It's just nice to point out the things you've done. You try to act all high and mighty, yet your cheating blood has more viscosity than Casey Anthony on her 2nd honey moon. You sit here and call Darth a cheater, yet you have admitted to abusing some bug where reloading Avlalons paid you money instead of costing you money. Not to mention when you are a faced with a 1v1 you run to your trident and dock/swarm/dock/swarm while all the time yelling shoulda paid? This being even after your guild tries to 3v1 bully a name they've never seen and when they die calls the guy a griefer? Tell us almighty Greenwall, other than the Avalon bug you abused to make billions how many other bugs have you abused? By the way Blaqk still owes me 1 billion credits.

No, it doesn't, but it does make you a f*** w*t. Frankly you should be more concerned about that.

Lol as far as you knew that guy that you witheld honorable pvp from was a new player. Too bad your 24 flares couldn't kill him so you had to resort to docking/undocking/swarming/docking/undocking in a trident.

@boda

You sit here and call Darth a cheater,

I didn't call him a cheater. I called him a law violator, and insinuated what he did was worse than cheating.

yet you have admitted to abusing some bug where reloading Avlalons paid you money instead of costing you money.

I have not admitted to that. Citation needed, bitch!

Not to mention when you are a faced with a 1v1 you run to your trident and dock/swarm/dock/swarm while all the time yelling shoulda paid?

Sounds to me like you are pissed someone saw through your attempt to hide behind anonymity.

Why should I be concerned about that? You certainly weren't concerned when you initiated the practice back when you formed FAMY, and continued it ever afterwards...

I'm glad you finally admit that TGFT are a bunch of law violators. When is VOID KOSing them?

I can read fine. TGFT made a plugin that stole my information one time. According to you that is also against US law, and thus is illegal. So You have admitted they are criminals, but you still defend them? Why? Are you a criminal as well?

That link you posted states:

"Loss might include

Harm to reputation or goodwil
Other costs if reasonable"

By stealing my character info, and other data, TGFT hurt both my reputation a goodwill. By your own definitions they are criminals.

Also in that link we have this:
"Exceeds Authorization The term "exceeds authorized access" is defined by the CFAA to mean "to access a computer with authorization and to use such access to obtain or alter information in the computer that the accesser is not entitled so to obtain or alter." 18 U.S.C. ยง 1030(e)(6)."

Well clearly TGFT was not entitled to obtain that info.

Types of Offenses (7 Prohibitions)
There are seven types of criminal activity enumerated in the CFAA: obtaining national security information, compromising confidentiality, trespassing in a government computer, accessing to defraud and obtain value, damaging a computer or information, trafficking in passwords, and threatening to damage a computer. Attempts to commit these crimes are also criminally punishable.

I feel that my confidentially was compromised. So according to you TGFT are criminals. Why do you continue to defend them, and ally with them? Why is TGFT not KOS with VOID? What are you hiding? Are you also a criminal Greenwall? The public has a right to know.

Mar 16, 2017 greenwall link
Somote, if you were to file a civil lawsuit against the TGFT who designed whatever plugin you are talking about, you would have to prove they had intent to cause you harm. As I said above, which you still clearly have not read (or perhaps just are unable or unwilling to comprehend), Darth and Neon have publicly admitted their intent to cause harm. TGFT, on the other hand, has not. More over, if you are talking about TGFT Utilities, steps were swiftly taken to provide users of that plugin with full knowledge and scope of it's capabilities (i.e. if you don't want your information read by TGFT -- don't use the plugin). I think it's completely reasonable that TGFT would have wanted to collect information on users via a completely optional plugin for reasons other than to cause someone harm. This is a FAR cry from Darth and Neon's aggresssive attempt to get Blaqk to run a plugin under completely false pretenses with the sole intention of stealing VOID's guild bank.

More over, the loss you are claiming (harm to reputation or goodwill via loss of confidentiality/anonymity) is not something that is automatically covered (i.e. "loss might include" as opposed to "loss includes"), suggesting that you'll have your work cut out for you trying to prove how your reputation and goodwill were harmed, and even if you do your best, it still might not be considered a "covered loss". I can't believe you'd convince anyone your reputation and goodwill were harmed solely by someone becoming aware of characters which used a completely optional TGFT plugin which you decided to install and run, not by the direct request of TGFT or because of some requirement being imposed on you, but rather solely of your own volition; some kind of further action or consequence would have to be proven to have occurred that harmed you.

Surely, I can see how you would be pissed at TGFT for taking information about your characters without your *consent*, even if it was for benign purposes or ultimately was never actually reviewed or utilized against you. Regardless, you'd have to prove they intended and sought to cause you harm, which is very difficult, if not impossible for you to do.. And I'm of the disposition that TGFT did not collect any information (via the TGFT utility plugin) with the intent on using it to harm anyone.

That all being said, it's not lost on me that the above would be lost on you. The important takeaway here is that there is a good collection of you fucks that think it's completely OK for someone to engage in the behavior that Darth and Neon did.
