Message to Mi5 about new players
Blaqk,
[Huge IMHO]
I appreciate that you wish to help new players, and I thank you for spending the time to help them. I have a criticism or two to make:
You are giving them too many short cuts. Yes it is easy for a vet to get to trade 9 quickly. But a vet leveling a new alt will do this to avoid the grind they have done many times before. A new player misses out on the experience of learning how the game works. It's like giving a kid a key to a super car, sure the car is fast, but the kid is going to crash and burn.
Basically what I mean is that these new players are not going to stick around long if you they get their levels very fast. There will be no challenges in the game. Having higher levels will mean nothing. Soon they will get bored and leave.
I'm not telling you to stop helping, I'm just saying you should go about it another way. Like handing out noobs kits. Hand the new players some UCs, lenbs, megaposis, Advanced mineral scanners, HD/HE beams and teach them the ropes. Then let them discover the wonders of VO on their own and level at their own pace.
The game will be better for it. Thanks for reading.

Will likely be moving this to Role Playing, specifically because it deals with a certain pilot (as opposed to simply the game in general).

I am doing what I must to see what I want accomplished in a timely manner, I will not be stopped unless under the express directive of Incarnate/Guild Software.

XC(200cu cargohold) is sold in Latos N-15 at 9 trade and 4 mining
Odia H-6 (Buy) Railsmk2 -> Odia M-14 (Sell) ~ 3.56m per TTM (6XC)(Static)

The best light weapon XP is killing assaults in an active levi sector while taking the mission it is 450 per kill.
The best combat and heavy weapon XP is using a capital ships dock and Lightning mines to create a cylinder shaped minefield around the hive warp entry point with a proper angle or "vector" within critical hive missions located inside an ion storm while taking the mission. To find the proper vector here is an example. Hive critical mission is located in A-1. I would jump to A-2 first, then A-1. That way you enter the sector at the exact same vector as the hive do for fast positioning of the capital ship(Goliath/Trident Type M)
The best mining XP is [Autojett] and a set of HD beams.
The best trading XP is having a veteran player who owns a Trident Type M to go to Odia M-14 and buy Synthetic Hydrocarbons, then haul them to Sedina D-14 and drop them in front of the dock. You grab your largest cargohold ship and do the trading->bulk procurement missions. The mission with about 60% of the time contain an order to take Synthetic Hydrocarbons to Sedina D-14. If the mission does not provide a bulk or normal procurement order, follow the mission "I cannot complete this mission" then hit "complete" now retake the mission and a new set of orders appear. This also grants you +1000 Corvus faction standing. Two birds one stone.

Woah. somote voiced criticism in a nice way. I have no idea who you are in game, but I thought you were an asshat in nearly all your posts. Good to see that you ain't.
You have to understand Blaqk. He's a very quick and active guy and he wants change to come NOW. But he also does some observations. He has seen that many newbies of today are impatient young kids who want the good stuff NOW.
And since Blaqk wants more players in VO and since he's as desperate for action as any other vet still playing, he thought of this way, hoping that newbies would stick around if they got SOME goodies very quickly.
Will it work? I have no idea. Just be aware that many of these kids were gonna quit anyway and that those who were gonna stick around anyway will learn the game mechanics no matter what eventually. Blaqk isn't doing damage here. And who knows... maybe he can make one or two newbies that were gonna leave stay instead. That'd be nice.

The whole "they need to grind to apreciate the game, with their blood sweat and tears" thing is bs.
A lot of people who play this game play on mobile, and subsequently dont have the time to grind endlessly without much reward, as is, they you know have a life.
Thankfully most of this game is skill anyways, which does take dedication and adds to the 'depth' of the game, but what blakqs doing is bosssauce, more players is always better.

This game is a grind, it's just not about XP or money.
Just skill.
Just skill.
