I am taking a leave of absence for now to deal with personal problems, which only made my gaming experience worse as I was trying to get away from rl problems. Not have more problems added to the pile I have.

Once I get everything sorted out, I may return again one day, but I get the feeling that things are about to take a bad turn, so this will not be anytime soon.

1) a small community of people who had a lot of epeen over a space game of all things, possibly with some hardcore untreated narcissistic personality disorder

2) these toxic people making a chess game out of it that ended throigh their own bullshit.

I always said that 1 player can make or break a guild. Meaning the guild that a player joins or leaves. I for one never expected that me unsubscribing, abandoning council and lieutenant, wanting to leave Vendetta Online would not only risk destroying EMS, but ended up in the actual destruction of one of the oldest guilds in VO, namely VOID. And right now I am blaming myself for that bloody event.

And, ohshtwaddup, I am nobodies hero.

Just a couple of points for you Dilan.

1) Void is not one of VO's oldest guilds, in fact, being only a couple of years old makes them one of the more recent. It's death was also inevitable, All good things come to an end.

2) You listening to these trolls like Pandoram and making the choices you have just goes to show that you should not be the person who is "leading" EMS.

You know I respect you and all dude, but if you are letting any of this get to you in the way it has, you really should consider the fact that you were never meant to lead EMS back to activity. Leaders listen, but they do not react to every bit of drama with a "screw you lot then, im off!"

The issue never started with Pandoram in the first place, yodaofborg. The key event happened some months before, the only thing Pandoram did was make it worse.

And you are right. Leaders do listen, but i was never leading EMS. I was the Lt, not the Commander. I should never have taken that position of Lt in the first place either.

With a guild like EMS, commander is just a title. You did try lead EMS back to life, and you were doing a great job. I know I was a part of the reason too, but ffs man. Any guild in VO is going to have enemies and people that want to destroy them no matter what the guild charter is.

Maybe you didn't understand that before you started the revival.

Maybe now, after the desolation of VOID, ONE should extend the olive branch.

Yoda's on point. First in that VOID is far, FAR from one of the oldest guilds. And second that this community has always attracted some nasty people, and if you're gonna be in the public eye (as LT or CO, or even council) you're gonna have to be ready for it with some thick skin.

This is a game. Do what is fun. If that means leaving EMS and turning into a space viking, do it. If it means weathering the storm and persevering as a mechanic, do that instead. If it means taking a vacation and playing a bunch of Factorio instead of VO, go for it.

For what it's worth, the only people I've seen speaking against you are that all-caps moron from the other day and either ONE or VOID. I forget which, but it doesn't really matter since neither of those guilds has any credibility.

It always put a smile on my face when I saw you Dilan in a sector that I was also in, you seemed that you were a very happy EMS person, I understand that EMS you have to sacrifice a lot of stuff. what ever you decide to do I hope you have fun, have safe flights and I will kill a few queens in your name.
