[ITAN] - Piracy

Jun 15, 2025 H.Hornblower link
Beginning the fourth week of Operation Slowburn, in direct response to [ITAN] treachery against an [#OSS] capital vessel, our pilots liberated the Latos I8 and Bractus M14 manufacturing stations. This after participating in the endex of an assault against an unrat Trident in Sedina, and clearing out unrat activity in Latos O12. During the latter operation an [#OSS] pilot identified the location of the unrat capital ship in Latos, for inclusion in future travel advisories.

As a counterattack against Bractus M14 began, our pilots crossed the line of departure to liberate the Pelatus C12 station. On their second sortie, they came under fire from a [GOB] pilot, the minor brigand guild. This pilot pursued ours to the Ineubis station in Pelatus O15. Attempting to ground our pilot in the station, our pilots provided overwatch for one another, until the brigand [GOB] retired from the sector.

The access of a known brigand to a station keyed by [ITAN], along with his prompt arrival indicates a high probability of collusion between the guilds. Further bolstering this nefarious leaning is the appearance of two unaffiliated brigands in a previous attempt to deny an [#OSS] pilot freedom of movement, immediately following the presence of an [ITAN] capital ship. Combined with HUMINT of sustained [ITAN] presence at, or in the direct vicinity of Sedina B8, it is the assertion of the Office of Strategic Services that the Coalition of Itan is freely engaged in piracy along MSR Tampa.

To wit, the Office of Strategic Services is offering capital ship manufacturing components, FCP & FFSA, for any HUD screen captures verifying piracy by [ITAN] pilot. Contact any [#OSS] operator on channel 419

For the record I had nothing to do with it...

And while I'm at it whilst Itan doesn't condone piracy I have little doubt the bureau of foreign affairs is going to overlook this... incidental event.
