The first two Marathons were Mac-only. The third, Marathon Infinity, is cross-platform. Not sure if it'll run on a modern Mac.

Wrong charlie, marathon II was released for Windows. Marathon infinity is mac-only.

Well maybe I'll look into borrowing a friend's copy, cause I don't usually go out and buy stuff just because it's for the os i run.

Why? Both games that are out for the Mac dont appeal to you? =p

Does it sound like I have money to go out and buy a $50 game? Vendetta I can afford. I earn that money babysitting for my sister because she can't be brought to certain places my mother and stepfather simply MUST go to.

Not to mention I've only heard of the games and never seen screenshots or read anything on them. I'm not going to go buy something on a whim.

marathon is an aincient game. if you could find it, it'd be like $10 for all three.

Not to drag this any further off-topic but all 3 Marathons were on the Mac. The first two have been ported to OS X and the patches can be found online. The third is still in the works. All 3 require the original game disks.
